A woman president? More like, no fucking way.
I hate to be political as much as the next man — which means exactly that I love it more than I love breathing air or using my eyeballs for seeing.
Think about that for a second because you know that it’s true. We men love politics, it’s no secret. It’s as much a part of being man as getting animals drunk or being forever vigilant for the greatest and fastest shortcut of all time. Politics at its core is in fact the very core of man. It is a quest, but a quest for what? Bam. That’s what. How do you like that.
Before I continue let me stress that no woman under any circumstance should be venturing these very deepest waters of sophomoric thought as revelations of the type just witnessed (with many more to come) can be severely damaging.
Let us picture in our minds a mythical land that would embody only the manliest nature — and here of course I’m talking about Germany, you can see for yourself. Picnic benches of oak as thick as a cinder block as far as the eye can see, and beer in glass steins the weight of an airplane windshield being getting smashed together with abandon for the absolute fuck of it.
Do you think that in the metaphorical “topic hat” of such a place there exists perhaps a piece of paper that says, “How was your day?” or “Where my mother went wrong.”
Fuck no. No way. And in fact there exists no such topic hat in either reality or fantasy.
But why?
It because men in such a place of rampant manhood want to speak of only one thing: Politik. The politics of doing the job. The politics about doing the job. And the politics of getting the job done. You can no sooner squelch this desire than you can throw a dumpster into the middle of the street with your bare hands. It cannot be done.
I think that my point here is obvious: a woman will never ever in a million fucking years be president of the United States or of anywhere.
There are two simple reasons for this. There is no need for a third because the first two are so utterly conclusive. Observe as I blow the lid off the entire media hype and tornado of bullshit…
No woman will ever be president because:
1. No woman is a man.
2. See rule 1.
Done. The fact that men are better than women is merely a corollary at this point.
Let’s expand these principles to some degree of practice with the power of our mighty imaginations by temporarily suspending every single non-perversion of logic and placing a woman in the White House for just a moment. The stress on the mind from such an absurdity is taxing I know so this will be brief. It is some relief that the details of the scene are not important. It can be any scene — that’s the beauty of it; any scene in which Madam President is there with anyone else.
What she is thinking at any moment is precisely, ‘Am I doing a good job?’, ‘Does everyone think I’m a fraud?’, ‘Did I get everyone’s opinion?’
Utter bullshit.
As men we know inherently that this is absolutely no way to get the job done. This kind of lay-about, lolly-gagging thought isn’t even preparing to get the job done. It’s a lame fuck around, and a waste of time.
Women do not understand politics at its core as much as a dog or a screwdriver does not understand crossing a busy street. Sure, you can guide them safely across. You can carry a screw driver to the store and buy it a cookie, but in the end it has no goddamn idea what’s going on — and that’s really what we’re talking about here.

Hillary going after Bin Laden(dead for his sake?)… I pity the fool.

Dance… let’s dance. Are you ready to party?
Indeed, the cultural AIDS of feminism.
I have to disagree with you on one thing. You said a woman will never be president of the US. I think a woman could be president but that would obviously be the end of our national greatness. In fact, the mere fact that the possbility of a woman president is being discussed publicly shows that we as a nation may be in deep trouble.
She’s still the odds-on favorite (bleh). As for their candidates, dunno, I think Wesley Clark is an ass, but he could go all the way. That’s a degree of depth in the Democrat home team. (though the day that Dems would be cheering having a butt-protecting apple-polishing General as leader is … puzzling to me).
Hillary is obviously the odds-on Fem… err Dem favorite, but there are a lot of people in the Democratic party working to reverse that. They’re not stupid. They care about winning. They might win with Clark or someone like him, I really can’t see them winning with Hillary Rodham.
There we obviously have to agree to disagree. I appreciate you not trashing her. In turn I’ll try and steer clear of at least one of your crazy lefties! Someday, maybe via email, I’d be very interested in exchanging views. Definitely not in public since that’s old stuff back in the 80’s when we were mere lads. But you’re the most rational and decent socialist I’ve ever debated with. Maybe your decent kind is simply scarce in North America…
gag gasp!
That kind of makes sense. Because all that talk about personal responsibility doesn’t seem left to me (I agree it’s not Thatcher either, given the constraints of society — which I agree with). But it sure ain’t left.
I’ll have to ponder that. Maybe.
As always, best,
(and come over and hit my blog … )

You’ve eased my concerns somewhat on the US scenario. Just how likely do you think the Dems are to pick Hillary? I get the impression she’s on the nose a bit in some quarters. Of course their stocks do seem pretty slim.
Indeed, I have a lot of respect for Thatcher (pause for you to clean up any vomit!);
No vomit but a fair spray of coffee! I have to admit to seriously disliking Maggie.
With the feminist pollies I’ve noticed quite a few of them who are identified as feminists are not in actuality. Julia Gillard whom I mention as a leadership candidate would be in this category. My cousin, who owes much of her success to Emily’s List, would be another. Her belief systems are much more driven by her catholicism than by feminism and, like me, her attachment to the left is more genetic than ideological. I’m developing a sense that some of them hook onto the feminist bandwagon because it suits their ambitions rather than their beliefs. They are politicians after all.
It’s a valid worry, but I think it unlikely. I do think it likely the Republicans would put a woman in the VP slot in response to Hillary, and that would be something of a setback.
If you look at the top candidates on the Republican side, I can’t see any women with the fund-raising muscle, ideology or the name recognition to last through the primaries and emerge victorious. Elizabeth Dole, Condi Rice are the only two of stature to spring to mind. Neither’s been in an executive position (unless you count Dole at the Red Cross). There’s Christie Todd Whitman (Gov-NJ, and former head of EPA), but her views put her on the fringe of the party. Condi Rice would have been an outside shot if the Iraq War had gone ’swimmingly’, but she seems way too tainted with that, rightly or wrongly.
I wouldn’t say I have no concerns, but I do think countries (including the US) can survive a female leader. And I’d draw the line at a feminist.
Indeed, I have a lot of respect for Thatcher (pause for you to clean up any vomit!); I think she was just what the UK needed at that stage in the cold war, and that stage in utter surrender to the Scargill and the National Union of Mineworkers. (To say nothing of the Falklands). On the other hand, she seemed to be somewhat clueless on civil liberties and her “There is no such thing as society” proved to be costly indeed, both to her party and her country.
That said, for every Thatcher (or positively viewed equivalent on the left), there are a lot of Pelosis, Hilarys, Ferraros, and that idiot Republican DA from NYC (now Rep Senate candidate !?!?!) who hired a crooked private eye to spy on her husband. Good move, woman.

Absolutely agree wolfe.
I have no concerns about a woman in this role. Even some feminists I could tolerate. I would draw the line at the Hillary type of feminist though.
In Aus our opposition party the ALP(my party) is currently led by Kim Beasley. He’s a nice enough bloke but I doubt he’d ever win a federal election. My prefered leader would be Julia Gillard. From a tactical standpoint I’m hoping they dump Kim in the leadup to our next federal election and appoint Julia. I reckon she could pull it off.
My worry is that if the Dems choose Hitlery the Republicans will feel they have to put up a woman. I believe this would be a mistake and will result in so much pork barrelling in favour of women that US men will be set back disatrously.
The Republic, built by men, could endure even that indignity, I think. Not that I’d recommend it, given the current and foreseeable crop of female candidates. (Though I agree, President Hilary would sorely test us).
The Republicans would have to run a pretty awful candidate for this to happen. That said, I don’t think that’s beyond their capabilities.

Ha, ha, ha, ha…………..
Female strikes again,
I’ve lost count…….
A female president is a death warrant for the Republic.
Not unless Medusa’s niece actually wins.
what is this shit about hilary clinton going for president? Has the world gone mad?
What lame comments from the children who strolled by here.
Mantastic point gwallan!
Not often mentioned is that Pierre died from radiation poisoning. Guess who got to do all the dangerous stuff.
The day a woman becomes president of USA is the day i leave the western world and go to Russia.
The smartest woman ever was like Marie Curie and she needed her husband helping her to get anything done. I mean, women can be very much smart or smarter than men in terms of research and memorization, but when it comes to theory creation, women have nothing because they have no creativity. Even the commercials tell us a man invented the tampon!
They make things better but there is so little that is new that has ever been invented or created by a woman, both tangibly and theoretically.
I submit to you that this is what Harvard knew all along.
Good points, dogfan55. We’ve gone over many such examples in the Man Forums.

It is certainly possible to be both a feminist and straight, infect it is even possible to be a male feminist (I know this is something that a man like you could never understand). Many men are stupid feminists. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much for many of to be a gender traitor.
“A woman will never ever in a million fucking years be president of the United States or of anywhere. There have been many female presidents of other countries. They have proven to be selfish war-mongers, not pro-environment, ego-driven first, not preferable to men in the least.
Just enogh to get insider’s knowledge without a bloody clue what to do with it. Kinda like dicks and cars.
