A particularly lucid and engaging commentary. I must say that this board is bringing some very refined and well considered thoughts and ideas to the fore. Sure, I myself, am nothing more than a Talking Monkey, but when the random activity of my less evolved mind happens to align (as even quantum mechanics dictates that it can), I find a moment to pause and take note of higher states of awareness and perspective. That is, to be aware of worlds of being beyond hanging by one’s tail and throwing feces at anyone who is within range.
That said, may I be so bold as to suggest a change in tack, a trim of the sails, if you will. It occurs to me that much of our time here is spent largely in discussing the fun house of horrors that is woman. While this is greatly illuminating, I am finding that what is most interesting to me is to really get down to managing my own behavior in the face of all of this.
That is, instead of focusing on all the fubar shit women will try to pull, I need to be clear about who I am and how I handle it. Our first realizations of how fucked up women can be, are often the most painful, yet I think we are short changing ourselves by letting the emotional backlash generated by such drama to exert inexorable control over the dialogue, ad infinitum. At some point, it is critical to our success to simply accept things as they are, man up, and walk it off. Once we do that, then we can start to look more carefully at the roles we play and how best to optimize our performance.
Let’s face it: regular access to new and enthusiastic (note: enthusiastic) pussy keeps me at my best on every level. I now accept the reality that this means that I must remain a hunter and be ever aware of what is unfolding around me. Men are better than women, though I can only say this so many times until I come to the “No Duh!” moment and begin to ask “Okay, so now what?”
The “now what” I am beginning to form in my monkey brain has more to do with me, than it does with any woman.
