Same thing for ex with romantic comedies. Men do not like to watch them. Why?

In these, men always have to chase womes ass.

Why they never make a romantic comedy where a woman chases after a man? He receives flowers, dinners, she is driving him, buyng him a ring, proposes "romantic" dates, sex.. and doing it all with a smile and love while he is doing everything in his power so nothing will happen.... at the end she begs for him making all kind of promises as a crowd is watching!!!....

Make it like this and men will like to watch RC too. :))

Just more of the feminist propaganda (that's what it is) we're force fed on TV convincing us of their 'abilities' and 'equality'. They have to put it on the TV as you rarely see it in life. Ever wonder who has the power in the TV stations these days? (remember women gravitate towards jobs where they sit and talk for 'work'). If they haven't cornered these jobs yet, those that run the networks still know who they're directing their programming at. Want proof? Watch the adverts, then ask yourself, what gender was this aimed at. BTW I mean regular TV, not a station that has been set up specifically for men as this is the only way he'll get to watch something he likes.

I agree but what about Ayn Rand? I find her books to be more masculine than most of the garbage men write nowadays including The Da Vinci Code. The last masculine writer standing is probably Chuck Palahniuk.

Comic books, graphic novels, American movies, and video games are ultra masculine thank god. Women are trying to fuck up movies and video games, but they are so untalented and uncreative that they can barely make a dent.

You know, I'm willing to bet my left testicle that all feminists are lesbians. yes, i did just say that. wait, why am i typing? I should be at home beating my wife...</blockquote>

This is most probably a very good example on the total moronic attitude of women.
"Lets swallow the lesbian bullshit and make males wear it all."

Got news for you Sugarlips, get a life as men are not going to automatically going to give you one.

Spin, HW, Devek,
I agree with your assertations. Thanks for expanding my comments and elaborating for the rest here. I was feeling under the weather this past weekend and did not express my thoughts completely.
Spin, Of course, this course of action only disheartens me in the sense that any irrational, illogical conversation would dishearten me. Trying to talk sense to someone and being met with immediate defensive, emotional rantings...
No wonder the divorce rate is so high. It is impossible to maintain a relationship without meaningful conversation and conflict resolution.

I have noticed this growing trend as well, Wolfe. It's almost as if women today have been conditioned to jump to the most negative conclusion with almost any comment. It's disheartening to try and talk to one of these women.</blockquote>

yes, indeedy. If you want to find something offensive, it is certainly easy to do, including taking faux offense when you have no other argument, or lucid statement. This is the stock in trade of the genderists, and those otherwise good wimmin' who have been trained at the genderist (rad-fem, feminazi, if you will) knee.

Of course, it is extremely effective in keeping the great unwashed masses of men down, those pussified amongst us, who still try to please the "princess syndrome" woman of yore.

Men, rise up, reject this bullsheyt, don't try to please, but try to be true to your man-self.

Are you implying that your girlfriend is not a success, but a failure? I would call that rude if it's wasn't so funny.

Men are better than women at shooting themselves in the foot.</blockquote>

I see no reason for you to get personal, Female.

Given the topic of discussion of this thread, is she successful as a computer programmer or a superhero? No, she is not a success at either of those, but that doesn't make her a failure as a human being, at least not in my eyes.

She is also not a success at being a major corporate executive, founding a business, significant academic research, having a high citation index etc.

She is definitely a success at being a good, decent and kind human being and inspiring me to be a better man than I am.

She's also quite intelligent.

You seem to suffer a basic cognitive deficit that relates to reading comprehension: you consistently read more into statements than is present, and simultaneously fail to comprehend even the most obvious of statements in context. For one as intelligent as you, this is puzzling behavior.

Hrm. That got me thinking and this could be an important point.

I think about all the women that I grew up with in today's feminist world, and the one thing I noticed was their refusal to make mistakes and learn. You can't be a good programmer or anything without screwing up a lot first.

...

I don't dislike women or even hate them, i'm just disapointed and flustrated with today's batch. You can't treat them like anything but a sex object without offending them.</blockquote>

Excellent points, Devek. Every successful man I've ever met has been quite comfortable with admitting mistakes and learning from them. When I meet a successful woman, I'll let you know if she is the same way.

How True HW, i don't see any feminazi's jumping at the chance to fight Fernando Vargas or Winky Wright. You want equality, Fight in Pride or San Shou.</blockquote>

Im sayin! They wont because they are to pussy to put their money where their shit infested mouth is. Talk talk bitch bitch bitch wine wine wine complain complain complain is all women do.

Then you have the pussy ass guys that don't put them in their place and let them run their mouth, because its easier then getting into a confrontation thus allowing them to control us with their bitching. Wake up guys fight back and put those bitches back in their place.

I have heard so much shit about the sexs being equal that it makes me sick. Men and woman are completely differant. I never said one was better then the other we are just differant. WE ARE NOT EQUAL AND NEVER WILL BE!

Any woman who disagrees with me will get this phrase, "Welcome to the UFC". I hope I get to see that one day.

Woman need to go into their world stay there and try to make it a happy place. Instead of coming into ours and fucking shit up like they did theirs.

Fucking women trolls.

I have heard so much shit about the sexs being equal that it makes me sick. Men and woman are completely differant. I never said one was better then the other we are just differant. WE ARE NOT EQUAL AND NEVER WILL BE!

Any woman who disagrees with me will get this phrase, “Welcome to the UFC”. I hope I get to see that one day.

Woman need to go into their world stay there and try to make it a happy place. Instead of coming into ours and fucking shit up like they did theirs.

Fucking women trolls.

Whatever model you use there are many people that refuse to admit that they've made a mistake or (god forbid) learn from it. It wasn't their fault, or they didn't do it, however they forget that one of the most profound lessons in anyones life is to learn from your mistakes and to make yourself a better person for it.

Women are only made for cleaning the house, watching the kids, and for sexual entertainment for men. That is all. When the fuck did women start having a say in what they should do? You know, I'm willing to bet my left testicle that all feminists are lesbians. yes, i did just say that. wait, why am i typing? I should be at home beating my wife...

<blockquote><a href="#comment-5325" title="View the original comment" rel="nofollow"><em>wolfe said:</em></a>

Interestingly, most (all?) early programmers were women (from Ada Byron King, Countess of Lovelace, to Admiral Grace Hopper). Those women had something that most women today lack: freedom from feminism, and freedom from the Pretty Woman/Erin Brockovich role models.
-wolfe</blockquote>

Hrm. That got me thinking and this could be an important point.

I think about all the women that I grew up with in today's feminist world, and the one thing I noticed was their refusal to make mistakes and learn. You can't be a good programmer or anything without screwing up a lot first.

I'm going to use hacky sack as a specific example, however this represents many encounters with women women regarding many things perfectly.

I'm awesome at hacky sack today, but you can bet your ass I looked like a buffoon the first time I tried it. Much practice and embarrassment later I became skilled. I remember trying to teach my wife how to play once, and after getting her to try once(and fail, like everyone else did their first time) she decided that "Hacky sack is stupid!"

Backed into a corner believing it is stupid, she never even considered picking up the sack and practicing with it alone.

When learning hacky sack, I had a "mentor" named Joel. He spent lots of time with me critiquing my techniques and showing me various stalls and he enjoyed it as much as I appreciated it. I clearly could not of learned anything from him if I made it up in my mind that I was just as good as him and his equal. I knew my place, he was superior to me. Later on I became considered better than him and I was teaching him stuff, but I earned that and it didn't require a lobby group forcing congress to pass some stupid law.

If a feminist doesn't know her place, how can she ever hope to learn anything from anybody?

You bring up <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_Hopper" rel="nofollow">Grace Hopper</a> who wrote the first compiler ever, "it was her idea that programs could be written in a language that was close to English rather than in machine code or in languages close to machine code, such as the assemblers of the time. It is fair to say that COBOL was based very much on her philosophy."

She invented the term "bug". You don't think she screwed up a bunch writing all that? She became a rear admiral in the navy, you think she got there by not knowing her place?

A lot of feminist seem to think that men like me are "sexist" and even have words like "misogynist" that they use. That's not really true at all. Feminist seem to think we were abused or treated badly by our mothers, and that's not true at all. My mom was a saint. After staying at home and raising me, my mom started her own very profitable chain of retail stores from scratch. Lots of computers and software keeps her business running, and she knows how to run it all and keep it going by herself because she listened when I told her what to do. She didn't flip out and throw a hissy fit when I showed her something that she did wrong either.

I don't dislike women or even hate them, i'm just disapointed and flustrated with today's batch. You can't treat them like anything but a sex object without offending them.

Actually, I have a much simpler answer to Shawn’s question. It’s of course less insightful than Dick’s, but valid in its own way:

“Re: Action movies. What’s the deal with this new-age superwoman bullshit?

The silver screen is all about fantasy. For many, what could be more fantasy in today’s world than a strong, sensible woman who’s got it together and uses her capabilities to help other people rather than kvetch and complain and file lawsuits?

Devek also said “Perfect example is in the field of computer programming.”

Interestingly, most (all?) early programmers were women (from Ada Byron King, Countess of Lovelace, to Admiral Grace Hopper). Those women had something that most women today lack: freedom from feminism, and freedom from the Pretty Woman/Erin Brockovich role models.
