What your saying does not apply to all women. My ex-girlfriend who I know extremely well had little if any shame, and tons of pride. She thought every thought of her’s was correct and had trouble seeing things from another perspective. The author Thomas Ellis theorizes this is actually a female-specific characteristic. My ex was a bitch when things did not conform to her view of how things should be in her mind. The sad thing was that I had to be extremely aggressive with her verbally–put her down harshly—for her to “snap out of it”, and for her to have any modesty to see that things could be seen in a different yet equal perspective. I suspect every women is a bit different here, but one problem I feel is the media/popular culture insistence that womens opinions should carry more weight then mens, because women are emotionally-superior beings.

While that does make sense, from observation I’ve noticed that women usually have a tendency to “look” weak just to get out of trouble. As long as women like that are around I can’t agree completely.

Well we don’t say that women are unable to study things that were meant for men, but the point is that women only reproduce. Women reproduce human beings (babies) as well as they reproduce knowledge that men thought out, they don’t invent things. If you train a monkey hard enough, i’m sure he’ll be able to do a lot of tricks.
You can quite your study now as well, otherwise you’ll split up with your boyfriend because one time in the future you’ll think you’re so smart and able to score better (and richer), you’ll have too much stress in your job and quit or seek a lower job as a result (followed by whining that women don’t earn as much money as men).
