I could never and still can’t understand why some “straight” men hate gay people either. I guess they must feel low and look for some excuse to feel better. It’s hard for me to understand.

Its not that scary. My guess is that you received the ultimate betrayal of all, from what I can piece together: You were completely in love with your fiancee, and she cheated on you. Its hard for me to imagine anything worse than that.
