So you have to just work harder. Then you have to think dont most hiring agencies make you do a physical agility test?? Dont you have to pass that test to get hired on?? I am sure that if it was your mother , father , brother , sister, or child was suffering and on the brink of death you would not care if a man or woman did the job. My aunt was a nurse. All she ever did was bitch about how the Doctor’s were f-ing things up. Funny how she never saved a life but they did. I know another woman who works for a female doctor. All she does is bitch about how hard the work is. Yea, real hard making appointments, sending faxes and weighing patients.
They’re also f-ing up the healthcare system. I overheard her on the phone, “You don’t NEED that test, but the insurance covers it so you might has well have it done.” NO SHIT!

All because she had a pulse oximeter on 1 foot I could not touch behind a closed humidicrib and did not want to touch, she told me I would start a code blue. No you silly lady R/N Im there to visit my baby not get in the way of her medical care! Male doctors had my daughter ready for discharge, same nurse doctor ignored when he told all the nurses that our daughter was goign home, that lying little nurse came to me and told me. not to let my babies daddy let our daughter go home like he wanted, she told us then the doctor had changed his mind, and that our daughter was not to go home. Stupid female midwife had the nerve to argue with my man, she was angry with him, because he told her we were given permission to have our daughter go upstairs and then home.

Midwife took our daughter back down to the NNU after her bath, where she screamed from the pain of failed iv sticks for a further vein pumping of iv antibiotics on a baby who had no abormal blood test results, no abormal white cell counts, and no 02 requirements and was a demanding bottle feeder. It almost ended in a scalp iv for a baby girl with failed iv sticks because of ticked off midwives and nurses who think they are the boss who can refuse doctors orders for patient babies. We were told we ahd 2 options left for out baby girl after failed iv sticks a scalp iv is kinder for our baby or thigh injections the most painful of the two options. I agreed to there scalp iv, came back for the shaven off baby hair for her baby book and they had done thigh injections,

My daughter would not have gone through more pain if the nurses and midwives followed male doctors orders for our daughters discharge instead of refusing doctors orders, so they could have there way with our baby and so a midwife could also argue the point with our daughters father (a man)

The registered nurse on duty filling in for some NNU nurse who could not be on the shift, what a nasty lady! She had a grumpy attitude, she wrote birthweight as female, when birthweight is not a gender how stupid is that.
