Which is basically what a farm is with a fence and some buildings that people who take care of the cows live in. And if we replaced all of those cow pastures with fruit and vegetable farms, where would the cows go? They are pasture animals, and they are domesticated animals, they'd be easy prey for predators, which would provide them with a lot of food, would could make them populate more. But once that food source goes down they'll have to move on to other animals, which further depletes other wild animals there etc. Their survival is inexplicably linked with us.
