It reminds me of women, i can see where you're going with dick having religious beliefs and religion being for the most part a stark unchanging wasteland, but...

I don't really think dick holds creationist or strict religious values. And as a man i don't see him as exceedingly ignorant to facts. Actually less ignorant then most people.

-Just ignore this halfwit. There's no need to pollute logical debate with the mindless bleatings of this troll. Now lets move on.

Yes- I agree- men should be left to rule the world {If they can find time in between burping, farting and scratching their balls}. Women should leave them quite alone to admire one another's ass cleavage...
Ahhh yes- the good ole days- when women were allowed to beat the hell out of men with cast iron frying pans and put pot ash in their fruit of the looms...
I mean- look at the absolutely brilliant job that they've done up until the last 20 years or so...

Ahh yes- the good ole days when if men really wanted to get laid they had to hand over their pay checks every friday....

Ahhh yes, the good ole days- when women got fed up with their shit and left they had to pay her alimony for the rest of their lives...

Ahhh yes- the good ole days- sitting around watching soap operas all day and putting Ex-lax in their coffee when they pissed the women off...

Ahhh yes- the good ole days- when dead beat dads got their ass kicked by all the neighbors...

Ahhh yes- the good ole days- when children really did look like the mail man...

Forget the fact that the most efficient species of animals all have QUEENS and throughout history- it was only the human queens that relied on men for supposrt that lost their kingdoms...

...like anything else you must give evidence to support what you say... if you want people to listen to you.

Facts and truth are self evident. This site highlights innumerable real life examples of them, and guess what? There's plenty of evidence in here like newsclip links for example (in case you missed them). Are you listening now?

Okay Dick, I'd just like to ay down a few basics here. You seem to be hell bent on furthering your 'truth' that men are better than women.

If it is true then why on earth should I believe you?
</blockquote> Why should he care if you believe him or not?
We have plenty of believers here and it don't take a genius to realize he speaks the truth. Maybe you're too dense to see the truth or you're in denial and that ain't no river in Egypt by the way.

<blockquote>
Have you ever quoted any real amount of reasearch that support your opinions?
No.
Have you ever given you credentials that show the rest of us that you have at least thought long and hard about this subject?
No.
I'm pretty sure that you are familiar with the proper form of debate, however, like anything else you must give evidence to support what you say... if you want people to listen to you.
The only people who take your word for granted probably haven't had a profound thought since birth.
So if you haven't given any evidence to support your claim then what are we left with?
Belief.
There is one problem with belief though, as I am sure you are aware: it's not an accurate representation of the reality of things.
Unfortunately for you, your belief is going to be extremely hard to prove. To start off with you have to define in what ways men are bettter than women.</blockquote><blockquote>His beliefs are in fact an accurate representation of how women are in general. He has a list of the top 10 reasons. Maybe you should read a while before spewing you guts. Dick has the right to say what he believes without having to prove it to you.

</blockquote><blockquote>
That's the easy part; finding the evidence that fairly represents all groups of women is the hard part.
Yes it's hard, but if you really are a man, as you so claim to be, then don't just waffle on, actually put some analytical thinking to your beliefs.</blockquote>No it's not really hard. Everyday women prove that men are better than women. Are you blind or in denial?

"<i>We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal</i>".

Dear Max, Dick doesn't need to present evidence. That men are better than women is simply <b>self-evident</b>, and... <i>its the <b>law.</b></i>

Belief.
So, in essence it is simply your belief that what you say is true, just like the Christians, Muslims, KKK, Nazis etc. They all believe in something, with scarce or no evidence to support their beliefs.
There is one problem with belief though, as I am sure you are aware: it's not an accurate representation of the reality of things.

I feel that O'Conner was not whaffling. Just because she didn't stick rigidly to one group's philosophy or another should not reflect badly on her. The majority of people in this country rarely live their lives by party lines. There are many men in the House of Representatives and the Senate who consider themselves either Republican or Democrat, who waiver back and forth on particular issues. It's not uncommon, and it's not genderized.

Sandra Day O'Conner provided an excellent example of why women should not be allowed to be judges - they can never make up their mind about anything important. O'Conner could not decide what her judicial philosophy was, so one day she was conservative, the next liberal, and the next completely incoherent.

Another reason to keep women off the court is because they love attention. O'Conner did all of the whaffling about in order to attract attention to herself. The other justices were predictable, but because O'Conner was not, litigants before the court would focus their discussion on trying to convince only her.

American jurisprudence has declined with the intro of women to the bench. Let's get them all off and regain the respect we once had for the court.

Alright, Fu2rman. Those good old days you speak of are a rather recent take on family life. A husband coming home to the wife and kids is a product of the Industrial Revolution. In preindustrial agrarian societies, women worked along side men in their households, both doing necessary work around the house and property to keep the family going and making enough money to support themselves. Children were raised by both parents equally. Granted, men did a great deal more strenuous manual labor around the house by virtue of the fact that most men are physically stronger than women, but don't let that diminish the contributions of women. Clothes, the majority of caloric food, household items and the like were all provided by the women of the household. These was even the norm in households of working middle class where women were responsible for crucial work done in their husbands shop and business. It is only until recently that there has evolved seperate spheres for men and women, where traditional spheres are defined as men at work, women at home. Once again, the Industrial Revolution, providing manufacturing plants accomodated to the male laborer were constructed and the seperation of spheres began. So, it would seem that it's not natural for women to desire not to work, nor is it natural that men belong in the workforce and women do not. One needs to probe and question societal norms when offering critiques of culture, in order to look informed. Take gender roles. They are completely culturally constructed. The only reason men are nervous about women breaking gender roles and embracing more "masculine" roles is because men are not willing to be as flexable as women, and not willing to leave their old roles to adopt a new integrated gender role.

In this day and age of western gender equality, you would think that after close to 40 years of women's libbing in action there would be a 50/50 split in apportioning of employment for women in high level roles. Female presidents and Prime Ministers. Female CEO's. Female Judges. But no. Why not? Because women are outstanding when asked to give a view on a subject, (just ask one) but when required to make a decision and STICK TO IT, they find themselves unable to cope under the mental pressure. So, the male hegemony works after all.

Even women won't vote for female leaders.

Andy, that's a good question. I can't answer it off the top of my head, but I will say I'm more disappointed with her tenure overall than any specific case decisions. Women were given a great opportunity there and they blew it by pussy-footing around. You have to rock the boat a little bit to make some waves. You understand.

Certainly, if I was ever enfranchised with the idea of women taking some rights for themselves instead of begging for them, I would be significantly more disenfranchised at this point after such a lack-luster showing in the Supreme Court.

Oh Nicole, of course women are people too, and they have their strengths, but the feminist movement has put them at a huge disadvantage. Women are great at watching our kids while we are at work, you do remember the phrase 'wait 'til your father gets home,' right?

Back in the good ol' days, men would come home, and put the unruly kids in their place.

In these days kids are out of control, and why is that?

Because women think they can compete with men in the workplace, they cannot. But they are forced by feminist to think they can. So they have flooded the job-pool with their presence, and lowered wages, made two income families a necessity, and hence weakend the family unit.

Thanks women.

Now we have a genaration of children that have no identity, gender roles are totally undefinable, so the young girls and boys are confused. We have boys that act like girls, and once women's natural instincts kick in, they don't want a man that is too sensitive. We have girls thinking they could become President, and they end up pregnant and natural instincs kick in and they don't want to work anymore.

See the problem?

Embrace your strengths.

Well, well, well, after my short absence, I must say that I am pleased to see prominant issues being discussed here on menarebetterthanwomen.com. I agree whole-heartedly that men are definitely better in high, powerful positions because they have the ability to reflect on their own actions and adapt constantly to ensure a better way of life. I read a study somewhere that women make up their minds about whether or not they would sleep with a man within the first 15 seconds of face-to-face contact. This type of prejudicial madness has no place in the Supreme Court, or any court for that matter.
