As much as some of you dip shit self-proclaimed scholars like to flap off about how smart your aunt is (emotional crutch) and basking in your own mundane literacy, how quickly you’ve forgotten such a wonderful, thought-provoking, and hilarious genre of literature as SATIRE.

It is a fact that the differences between individual people are far wider than differences found between groups.
With that in mind, my new perspective makes no dent in my attitude.

Conclusion: Dick is right about women in many respects.
That is of no concern to me, because I know I work hard; I have met many people who lack the skills I have, men and women alike. I have lead fulfilling life, and found a good husband whom I care for emotionally, and finacially.
Any woman who becomes defensive on this site clearly feels threatened by Dick’s accusations, and I believe these women see in themselves something they do not like, and something they refuse to address. To you women, I suggest you investigate your eagerness to shoot Dick down. The comments made here, by infuriated women, are ridiculous. You further prove Dick’s point with out realizing it, and that is funny in the saddest way possible.

It is well known that teen-age boys tend to do better at math than girls, that male high school students are more likely than their female counterparts to tackle advanced math courses like calculus, that virtually all the great mathematicians have been men. But why? Are women born with less mathematical ability? Or does society’s sexism slow their progress?

In 1980 two Johns Hopkins University researchers tried to settle the eternal nature/ nurture debate. Julian Stanley — who is well respected for his work with precocious math students of both sexes — and Camilla Benbow had tested 10,000 talented seventh-and eighth-graders between 1972 and 1979. Using the Scholastic Aptitude Test, in which math questions are meant to measure ability rather than knowledge, they discovered distinct sex differences. While the verbal abilities of the males and females hardly differed, twice as many boys as girls scored over 500 (on a scale of 200 to 800) on mathematical ability; at the 700 level, the ratio was 14 to 1. The conclusion: males have inherently superior mathematical reasoning ability.
