I have heard that too. I think that they just added new sections to try and “even out” the scores. Why is that necessary? I suppose that the feminists didn’t want to admit that girls didn’t perform as well in any section of the SAT. That’s why the entire test was revamped recently.

According to this link, women did considerably worse in math. They also had an average score of 502 in the verbal section, but men had an average score of 505. I believe the new “writing section” refers to an essay of some sort. Women scored 502 in this section as well, but men had an average of 491.
The grading for this section may be more subjective. In fact, the higher scores indicate that this section was deliberately added to give women an edge in some way.
Nonsense! Men not only have greater mathematical abilities than women, but also have greater verbal abilities than women as well. After all, how does one explain the fact that all of the world’s greatest literature was authored exclusively by men? Or that all of the world’s greatest orators were men?

Quite true. Men have always performed better on the traditional math and verbal sections of the SAT, but women did better on the new essay section.
Of my years in english class, i always had the best Voice and Organization in my writing, for the past 3 or 4 years, my teachers have always said I’m the best writer in my class. So what’s that supposed to say?: that’s right you know it. And just so you know, 3 of 4 of them were male teachers.

1) Frank Monroe Hawks was a Lieutenant Commander in World War I, set the west to east transcontinental airspeed record in a Northrop Gamma, and took 23-year-old Amelia Earhart on her first airplane ride at a state fair. He died in a crash also, in East Aurora, New York. Statue? Nope, no statue.
2) Amelia Earhart flew west and crashed in Hawaii. Tried again, dissapeared near New Guinea. Statue? You bet!

SAT scores are not the predicator of success in the real world. Follow these three girls 15 years from now - one will be married with children, but at a compromise to her original ambitions. Another will be divorced, collecting child support, working part time, and struggling to “find herself” in this cold, cruel world. Objectively speaking, women’s historical accomplishments pale in comparison to those of men. Women cannot think more than one step at a time except when conniving for something they want in a gaudy and hypocritical manner. Otherwise, the only way a woman can do something correctly is by following explicit instructions repeated several times. That’s why women outperform men in verbal SATs. Men only read subjects of value or what is necessary to know in their pursuit of their success; but although men are much better authors than women, women can’t perform calculus for shit.

MOST WOMEN ARE DEVOID OF THE CAPACITY TO LOVE
The vast majority of women, probably over 90%, are considerably grasping and possess little, if any, normal human emotion or natural affection. There is virtually no such thing as a woman who could truly be described as possessing the capacity to love. It would seem that the overwhelming majority of women are not psychologically, nor physiologically, capable of loving others in the absence of any sort of direct socio-economic exchange or consanguineous ties; in other words, women only love for money, status, and power, and little else besides. Women are often described as the more “romantic” of the sexes; however, given the fact that the man has, both from a socio-historical and evolutionary biological point of view, always been expected to pursue the reluctant female by means of a system of courtship and romantic gallantry exclusively devised by legions of ingenious males, this is not likely to be true.
Additionally, women are often described as having the greater capacity to love, but this also seems to be an egregious blunder as well; in reality, it is actually a foolish concession on the part of a gracious male patriarchy which has allowed itself to be, to use that sparkling, very apt phrase of Schopenhauer, “clouded by sex drive.” It seems all too obvious that it is men who love the most and women who love the least. After all, it is a well-known fact, scientifically and historically speaking, that men fall in love the fastest and the easiest. In light of the fact that most divorces and separations are female-initiated, it seems obvious that men are also the ones to stay in love for the longest period of time. Consistent with this, one sees that all of the greatest love poetry and romantic literature was composed by men; even the very conventions of medieval chivalry, which much of this romantic literature celebrates, was devised by men as a means of successfully demonstrating the power to visibly charm the female, enabling insatiable Mars to court frigid Venus with greater ease. In fact, the very concept of romance and our modern understanding of love was formulated exclusively by males.
In conclusion, I don’t think any woman truly knows what love is… Most women are cold and selfish… Women do not know the first thing about love; women do not possess the psychological capacity to truly love another human being unconditionally the way a man does. Women are not capable of true love; only men love… only men can be vividly described as possessing a highly evolved romantic temperament; only men can ever be truly romantic.
Like most people, you confuse being able to complete a task with brains. Nowhere is it stated she is “bright.” Anyone can devote whatever brains they have to a single task and excel. Some of the best mechanics on earth couldn’t spell mechanic! They only had 89 IQ points to work with, so they dedicated 80 to engines and 9 to everything else. Take them away from a garage, and they barely function. The only thing she has ever done is play chess better than the best women in chess (but not the best men). She took her IQ points and had them stuck in chess, instead of jelly braclets and NKOTB tapes.
Regardless of his IQ, her father was only a good chess player, never a grand master, mostly because he lacked the practiced skills. However, he recognized those skills and drummed them into his daughters. This is why she, above other women, was able to compete. But when she put her IQ points into wedding gowns and cribs, she lost her discipline and slid down the ranks.
At the end of the day, she is just proof that when women focus on doing what they are told to do by knowledgable men, they will do better than women who refuse to. Now, if you want to say that higher IQ women prove their intelligence by obeying men, I won’t argue.

I tested higher then Feynman, and I AM NO FEYNMAN–never could be, ever. I think this is proof that an IQ test measures only a very limited range of intelligence, and that intelligence is subdivided.
I was thinking about that. Actually, it proves nothing of the kind, in that the girls’ parents may have been exceptionally intelligent, anyway. Indeed, that kind of experiment is the type that would be conducted by a highly intelligent and educated member of the upper middle class, not a low IQ, poorly educated person. This fact entirely confounds László’s claim that genius has no genetic component. Those kids were likely to be bright whether hot-housed or not.
I’m not so sure about that. Richard Feynman won the Nobel Prize in physics with an IQ of only 124. And winning Nobel Prizes in physics is probably more demanding than playing chess, at any level (mind you, 124 is hardly a retarded banjo player). Another interesting fact is that while less than 1% of the world’s population are Ashkenazi Jews, that ethno-cultural grouping has produced 50% of modern chess champions. That is an astonishing statistic. Fischer had an IQ of 189. I don’t know where this leaves us. Maybe chess is more demanding that physics. Maybe IQ is not that relevant to achievement. Maybe other factors than IQ are more important than IQ in intellectual achievement (good health, eccentricity, maybe even mental illness or personality disorders).
I saw on wikipedia the other day that she ranked 21 on the April 2008 FIDE ratings list. That’s not bad. Of course chess has lost a lot of its allure and appeal over the years due to the advances in computing power and software algorithms. I’m not sure if the playing field is as strong today as it used to be.

Just because women are vastly inferior to to men on average, it does not follow that there aren’t a few women out there who have some value besides their vaginas. For instance, the female chess player, Judith Polgar, could never hope to defeat Bobby Fischer, Kasparov, Anand, Kramnik or any other of the top male players in chess, but she can play chess better than 99.99999% of men.
