Of course women have to understand peoples feelings. How else do you manipulate someone using their feelings to do so. They certainly understand men feel shame, even if he doesn’t need to, point out another offender and a mans ‘empathy’ (unless he understands the tactic) will behave as she expects him to. Men are rapists, peadophiles, wife batterers etc etc. Men need to learn to say ‘Not guilty never will be’.

I just got the book, so I’m still reading it. Waiting on the other two still, they’re coming from the USA. As a casual observer of female thought it’s obvious men and women think differently. I’m looking forward to more of his observations but have already noticed he’s very’ empathic’ towards females. This isn’t a direct quote but he has fallen into line by writing father strikes the child and female boss.

No, I certainly wouldn’t label whimmin (or their brains) as empathetic/empathic (I use the term only as a reference to the Simon Baron-Cohen research, where in his book “The Essential Difference,” he breaks down to a large extent the research done on the congenital/genetic differences between male and female brains, even though his own research is based largely on “surveys of empathy” given to people, concluding that men have accomplished MUCH more in the areas of invention and discovery because men’s brains TEND to “systemize” things; placing structure on everything, while at the same time dividing that structure into its composite parts, and simultaneously understanding the interactive functioning of those parts, etc.; while whimmin have more of a congenital/genetic need and tendency to “empathize” with their environment and its occupants…a need to understand emotions, and interact more with people, just for the feeeeeeelings of closeness, etc. – but certainly not, as more and more men are learning, in any sense is such “empathizing” of their brains, helping MEN).

Also, while these differences are tendencies (it’s on a scale/continuum), the data shows more variation for whimmin, with the greatest variations being by culture (Chinese whimmin, for instance, don’t seem to have this same “nurturing/empathizing” brain type as Western whimmin).
So the feminists will exclaim, “Ah ha! Social conditioning!”
But, science itself shows differences in male-female brains, both in structure and function…which certainly, to even the most nonchalant observer, is proven manifest by simply watching the preferred activities of even 2 or 3 year old children – no “social conditioning;” but CERTAINLY different preferences in toys, and relational styles, for example.

So no, I certainly wouldn’t call today’s whimmin “empathizing” in the literal sense – except for one of their own…

If I was to say this to a gaggle of whimmin “Did you know that whimmin, on average, have better night vision than men?;” they would all (effectively) cheer.
But if I said to such group “Did you know that men have better vision for distance, depth perception, and…watch this now…daytime vision?;” if there were feminists in the group, they’d find some way to label such a statement as social conditioning, biased study, or even sexism (even though it’s SCIENCE…not Whimmin’s Studies-type crap).

So, just as science says men see better in lighted-conditions, their ENLIGHTENMENT is increasing (even with satirical sites like this, among others)…while whimmin have definitely proven themselves to be superior…
