Michelle Wie Is a Big Quitter Cry-Baby

Recently woman golfing phenom Michelle Wie tried to qualify for the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour is where men go to play golf. That’s right, I said men. Wait a minute, you say, Michelle Wie is a 16-year-old woman! Doesn’t that mean she completely fucked up and most likely embarrassed herself?

Yes it does!

Michelle Wie got her 16-year-old ass handed to her. She was 18 fucking strokes behind when it was over for her. If you don’t know golf, in the game of life, that’s like living with your mother at the age of 38. You fucking suck.

So what does Michelle Wie do at 18 strokes behind? Finish the game with some dignity like those men from Cool Runnings?

Fuck no. Michelle Wie quits the tournament with 9 holes left to go claiming (get this) heat exhaustion.

Heat exhaustion? A professional golfer gets heat exhaustion!? Fuck you. That’s like a banker being allergic to money! Why isn’t Bob here today? Oh you didn’t hear? Turns out he’s allergic to money. How’s that for something that makes no fucking sense?

I could be very generous and posit perhaps Heat is Mandarin for Loser and she was actually retiring due to Loser Exhaustion in her native tongue, but we all know that’s not the case.

Interestingly, after reading her withdraw statement, I had to hospitalize myself for bullshit exhaustion — on account of me ingesting too much fucking bullshit while reading about this quitter woman cry-baby’s story of woe and chip-shoulder.

We know it’s not heat exhaustion because women quit at everything. They quit on their children. They quit on their jobs. And they quit on their fucking lives. They’re just big goddamn quitters. As soon as something doesn’t go their way it’s hands in the air and everyone’s a fucking asshole who deserves to clean up this mess anyway.

Fuck off.

The following is from an article of this “tragedy”.

“She’ll now have a week off before a two-week trip to Europe for the Evian Masters in France and the Women’s British Open.”

How do they even have a women’s gold tournament? Is it the last one to quit wins?

I know who loses. You for watching women’s fucking golf. Women golfers don’t even like women’s golf. That’s why they have such a hard-on for playing on the men’s tournament. And when I say hard-on, I’m talking about their penises.

Good points, Dorim. Since you claim to be a man, I’ll be eagerly awaiting your statistics on said points.

Women have no place in men’s sporting events. Men are better than women at sports, so in order to allow women a chance to win something we men invented the women’s leagues.

Michelle Wieeeee-I-want-my-mommy must have gone through considerable challenges just to be able to compete at a men’s level. It is therefore quite annoying to see that after all that trouble she just quit. She should have just stayed in the prissy little girls division where she belongs.

We are what we do, and women, on average, do more good deeds, more meaningful things in their lifetime than men, so does that not make women, infact, better than us men?

Dakota, you figure she’ll be burnt out by twenty, and I say she’ll be challenging the top men on the PGA tour. I’d back my statement up with cash, would you yours? We’ll all see in four years anyways.
You can all think I’m a chick if you like, though I assure you I ain’t, and I am not here trying to piss anyone off, but this whole thing with you all congratulating, complementing, and agreeing with each other on statements about men being better than women, well, someone has to try to open your eyes so you can all see how flawed that idea is.
How many time did I read that women are quitters, I don’t know. Here are are some reasons why men are bigger quitters than women. Women do, more often than men, finish things that they start. Women do, more often than men, do things that they say they’re gonna do. Men sure talk about doing this and doing that, but they so often find it much easier just to have a beer and watch the football. (I am sorry for stereotyping, but then you guys have grouped all women together against all men!). Look at the statistics on suicide. I looked at the stats for several different countries, not only the U.S., and even I was surprised at how many males and how few females commit suicide every year. That has to be the ultimate cop out of all. Women find new paths to take when they hit rock bottom, new ways to lead a meaningful life, and the men hit rock bottom, give up everything and kill themselves. Please don’t come back with “Oh, but suicide is a heroic way to die, and women just don’t have the nads to do it.” because you know that’s a load of shit, and don’t comeback with “Well, men have more pressures and responsibilities than women do.” before you also look at the most common reasons for suicide. Are your eyes starting to open? Well, have a look at the statistics for alcoholism, drug addictions, gambling addictions, and adultery. These statistics tell a story of how men are weaker than women. We all know about murder stats, too. Men are much better at murdering than women. I’ll let you have that one!
As for Michelle Wie quitting the other day, maybe she did, maybe she was really sick. Only she knows, but it sure looked like she quit. But give her a break, she’s 16. I am an endurance athlete, and I would die before I quit, but the majority of men in the races will call it a day as soon as they feel they are out of the running for a place. Avoiding injury or fatigue from a race already lost, so they will be fresher for the next race. Maybe I am the fool, but I have always believed that to give up in a race, or in training is a weakness, and people don’t tend to give up once. It becomes a disease that spreads from a race to training, and then into other areas of life. I have gone miles off topic here, but my point is that saying that women are bigger quitters than men is total bullshit.

Yeah, Sony called it succinctly.

I’m with Dakota in that golf is a ‘good walk spoiled’ as Clemens was reputed to have said. Rest of what he says appears quite correct.

diamatik nailed it with the laws.

Man points all around.

Dakota, you have left very little for me to say, so I shall just back you up by quoting the sacred Laws that cow has validated:

1. No matter how low you set the floor of expectations for a woman, she will inevitably fall below it.

2. When losing a logical argument, a woman will invariably resort to emotional arguments well before any possible concession. Thus, when arguing with a man, a woman will inevitably bring up at least one of a man’s putative: a) homosexuality, b) small penis size, c) lack of a woman, d) unattractiveness to women, e) inability to satisfy a woman, f) cheating with other women. The fact that many of those assertions are logically impossible when combined will not prevent a woman from doing so.

4. The LL law: Women are easily offended by what they perceive as oral or written assaults on their femininity, intelligence, or other attributes, and respond entirely out of proportion, demonstrating near total ignorance, thereby reinforcing the notion that they are stupid beyond belief.

6. Big Al’s Law: To gain credibility women will pretend to be a man or to speak for a man. Internet statements such as “I am a man” almost invariably mean the writer is female.

As usual, a woman incapable of rational debate immediately resorting to an invective diatribe. Thanks for proving us right yet again, Dorim.

Michelle Wie drives over 300 yards, which is further than a lot of men, and probably three times further than you could drive.

I can’t speak to this. Golf bores the shit out of me. In spite of the fact that it would no doubt further my career to take it up, I just can’t shake the feeling that I’m totally wasting my time. I’ve got other sports I like.

However, I think the point was to compare her against the male professional golfers that she wants to compete against as opposed to schmucks like me who need a mechanical alligator or a windmill on the course to enjoy the game. Clearly, compared to male professional golfers, Wie is, in fact, a big quitter cry-baby.

At sixteen, she’s achieved more than you will in your lifetime, I imagine.

Yes, you do imagine. You imagine wrong, however.

By twenty, she will be challenging men at the top level, mark my words.

Care to back that up with cash? ‘Cause I’ll take it.

By twenty, she’s going to be burned out and will have walked away from the sport entirely. A huge percentage of children who take up intensive activities such as professional sports burn out. In this case, it’s not even a question of her gender, though it will probably contribute.

And to the nut that says women can’t play basketball against men because they are small, so how have Steve Nash and Jason Kidd become such valuable players?

Um … because they’re men who’ve overcome the natural handicap of being short? What does that have to do with women?

I have seen an all womens team kick the arse of a much bigger, stronger mens basketball team.

Really? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a male team play against a female team, certainly not at the professional level. Where have you seen such a game? What teams played?

Men are better than women, in your little minds maybe, but women are far better than men at more things than men are better than women. I am a man,

Bullshit. You’re a woman. The first paragraph of the post proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt: men never resort to sexual diatribes to make a rational argument. Women always do.

You’re just doing that other female technique of claiming to be male in order to garner unwarranted respect for your opinions. You’re not fooling anyway, babe.

and I have seen far more ‘men’ quitting when the going gets tough than women.

Bullshit. Pure, unadulterated horse excrement. If that were true, history’s armies would be made up of primarily women and the physical requirements for male soldiers would be less strenuous than for women — as opposed to the reverse.

With that, I concur entirely. I suppose it’s a sad reality that women seem to peak around in their late teens and thereafter have little to look forward to but a sad decline into senescence.

Interesting argument, gwallan. Granted, many boys are indeed still growing at 21. That said, I think you and I would agree it’s patently unreasonable to expect much of a 16-18 or even 21-year-old girl. Given the view of this site, it’s unreasonable to expect otherwise.

On the ‘heat exhaustion’, yeah.

-wolfe

My point was that a sixteen year old girl will almost always be an adult physically and can easily compete against her elders. Never true of boys. Look at the Olympics or similar events. Even a twenty one year old male is a rarity while as many as half the women will be teenagers.

Possibly. On a good day I’d be a chance.
And I certainly don’t find time here to be wasted. Don’t judge this book by it’s cover.

On the article itself, she was a 16-year-old girl. She gets a pass from me, and I think she should get a pass from us.

A boy under the age of 18 is still entitled to some childishness. A girl under the age of 21 is too.

Just my 2 cents.
-wolfe

Agreed on her age. Sixteen is terribly young to be competing against top quality male athletes in any sport.
With you’re second bit I would reverse those ages/genders. Many boys are still growing at twenty one. Consider also that Wie is probably physically superior to most adults of her gender, and at least equal to her normal competitors. This would almost never be the case for a sixteen year old boy. However a good sixteen year old boy athlete is likely better than any woman on the planet.
On the heat exhaustion - it’s golf ferchissakes(The temperature Friday afternoon was 88. I’d have a jumper on.) And she does it for a living! She should come and play some of the Aus courses I’ve been on during the Summer.

…and to push it one step further, this is golf we’re talking about. Fucking golf. A sport based entirely around walking around under the shade of trees, picking up a 1 pound stick and hitting a tiny ball. If they were out there wrestling bears MAYBE I could understand getting a teensy bit warm under the collar, but how fucking rigorous is walking around? I golf. And while I golf I get shitty drunk because that’s the manliest way to participate in any sport: with a chemically-induced impairment to make the game more challenging. Not once, despite the heat, my girth, rapid pace of play, severe dehydration, extreme intoxication, or any other stupid piece of shit excuse, have I ever felt the unbearable urge to quit. It’s fucking golf.

WTF! WTF! WTF!

When I clicked on the article Dick provided I was fucking amazed! She was in a fucking ambulance! WTF?????? It looked like she had a heart attack! No, it was just heat exhaustion! She is all strapped into the stretcher as if she tried to kill herself too. Did she have a mental breakdown by experiencing reality (that she doesn’t stand a chance in the man’s world)?

And in golf? This isn’t like wrestling or boxing where there is a huge disparity between men and women. You would think such a good golfer from the women’s world stand some chance. But being taken away in an ambulance?

How can anyone believe men = women? Only if their brainwashed. The reality that has been proven time and time again is men > women.

It’s biological difference from the get-go…….I’m shocked, shocked!

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/13989048/site/newsweek/

Why Girls Will Be Girls
In a controversial new book, this psychiatrist argues that differences between men and women start with their brains…..

(Oh, it’s a woman psychiatrist who is spot on with her research. Though she will be black listed by NOW for not towing the party line. Imagine that…)

btw Senor Felix; You forgot one very important facet of what a woman can be her best at…..Being a woman and discarding the toxic ‘Man Hating Cunt’ manifesto that is defacto std for American women.

As for the members of this esteemed board, your views maybe different. I don’t care!

This is hysterical, because the feminazi’s at feministing.com were whining a few weeks back about the fact that Wie was asked to QUALIFY for the men’s tournement, that women and men are physically equal, blah blah blah. And of course, she ends up like a woman would end up if she tried to play in the NFL: Flat on her ass, not able to finish, and embarrassing herself and her whole gender.

I love it!!!

Maybe the “difference deniers” will quit now. And go back to doing what they do best.

Ironing my shirts! Making my dinner!

Also, one must take note of one fact. Body mass or volume to skin surface area ratio.

Heat generation is roughly dependant on body (muscle) mass whereas heat dissipation is roughly dependant on skin surface area.

However, volume (mass) grows exponenatially related to surface area which in turn grows exponentially related to linear dimensions.

Of course, this is not the only factor that adds up to one’s ability to dissipate excess heat but it is significant.

Also, not only are women endowed with far better (smaller) body mass to skin surface area ratios, but the body mass that they do have has a higher percentage of fat and other non-muscle tissue. As far as I know it’s mainly muscles that contribute heat to the body so this again is an advantage in one’s battle with heat exhaustion.

As such it is somewhat difficult to understand why someone like Michelle might prove so susceptible to heat exhaustion. IMO, there remain only 3 other possibilities for a diagnosis:

1. An alternate illness or ailment that exhibits similar symptons.

2. Improper replenishment of fluid loss. Mild dehydration.

3. Severe bulishititus. Most likely.

I’m going to leave the subject alone now. It’s been done to death.

About the only thing wrong with hot weather is hot weather. That and the stickiness. Everything sticks to you, or rather you stick to everything.

That and what it does to people with cardiac illnesses and the elderly. Hot weather should be banned ‘cept on the seaside. Today it was 30 or marginally above, in the shade, and a lot of people really felt it.

That’s real heat exhaustion. Not what Wie had. That’s like so clearly BS exhaustion, it’s not even funny.
