The Heart of Darkness Should Have Been Called Golden Girls
This is going to be one of my most controversial articles to date. I say that because I don’t even agree with it. In fact I’m disgusted by it; but that’s the burden of being a man. Even if you don’t agree with the truth or if you’re disgusted by the big fat obligation you have to keep shucking out the dough for, you do it. You do it and you shut your mouth.
Or in some cases you open your mouth in order to speak the truth. And then sometimes your mouth is a metaphor for fingers, which can do writing unless your hands are cuffed behind your back for some reason. In that case, the mouth can still be just a mouth. You understand.
Recently a woman in Philadelphia, America tried to set the new style record for Pulling a Bobbitt. You can read more about it by following the link at the bottom of this article. For those of you unfamiliar with the term I just fabricated, Pulling a Bobbitt, it involves extreme male genital mutilation and should never ever be discussed by anyone ever for any reason.
In fact the only people who do openly talk about it are women who will never be married or have children because they have Erection Killing hardwired into their system like a region encoded DVD player. How’d you like to watch a DVD of Baliwood’s finest? Well I certainly wouldn’t, but I also can’t because my DVD player is set for Region 2. So go fuck yourself, darling.

What the fuck indeed. I only have one thing to say in my defense. Does this raving and vindictive banshee not embody everything that is woman?
Let’s look beyond the female hysteria for a moment — and also the “charges” of domestic assault, battery, rape, and I guess the illegal super-adhesive glue from the future that kept her feet from walking her ass out the door before resorting to such grotesqueries. Let’s look at what makes a woman.
A woman is a collection of mindless impulses and instincts. That’s why they don’t ever know what the fuck they’re doing. They just can’t understand. God, or chance, or your subconscious — or whatever the fuck you believe in didn’t give women the powers of logic and brains like He/It/You did to us men. He gave them only a foul instinct of mistrust and a temper like a possibly broken firework. Is it going to blow at any second now? Absolutely no one fucking knows, but if you want to find out, I suggest bringing a big stick.
Being a man means being true to yourself. That’s called integrity. Men have the power to adapt themselves sure, but women don’t. That’s why Monica “The Claw Cow” is MenAreBetterThanWomen.com’s Honorary Man of the Month — because she’s true to her gender. If she were a man, that would be a mark of only the highest integrity.
By the way, the article on Monica below is full of snide, anti-male remarks written (likely) by an unmarried miserable shrew of a woman.

I was so disgusted by the candor of the author in the above story, that I emailed Miss DiFilippo (difilid@phillynews.com) the following:
Dear Miss DiFilippo,
I assume you are a Miss because the kind of male-hatred and general human malice you demonstrated in your attempt at “humor” in the recent article “A Genital Reminder” would certainly disqualify you as a potential mate for any man.
I found the article’s light-hearted nature to be inappropriate at best. Your indifference to a major suffering, not only in one man’s life, but also in the life of a possibly abused and mentally ill woman is alarming, disturbing, and disgusting — especially for a woman who has luckily found herself in the position of a potential role model for any local girls who may have realized that Paris Hilton is a whore.
Frankly, I’m offended. Thankfully, however, I am not surprised as this is exactly the kind of behavior a man is to expect from a woman; a vile, vindictive, sort of un-aimed desperation that cheapens life.

Fem, I’ll explain this, but I think you’re “taking the mickey”.
There are a number of men on this site who’ve made posts I disagree with. But in virtually every case, their posts are logically formed from a series of axioms. Their reasoning is not flawed; their axioms are [to my eyes].
So that there need be no confusion, by axiom, I mean: “To the person using it, a self-evident principle or one that is accepted as true without proof as the basis for argument; a postulate.”
There is generally little point in debating or attacking someone’s axioms. You may, over a great deal of time, by constructive engagement, cause them to alter, but this is unlikely.
In your case, you do not seem to attack or reason from axioms; you seem to maneuver for momentary advantage and hurl off a barrage of insults, non sequiturs, ad hominem attacks, and dark ramblings.
I’m sorry to say this, but this is what I’m seeing from your recent posts on this board.
You constantly state extreme positions that you then withdraw from on the grounds that you were joking, or whatever.
Whatever axioms you hold — and I am no longer sure I can tell — you are not proceeding to argue on a consistent rational basis.
Sorry, but that is stupid.
Look and see my comments to Arielle. I don’t think I called any of her comments stupid, even though I disagreed with her on numerous occasions. Since Enya shifted to “rational/non-3 id mode”, I don’t think I’ve called her arguments stupid (though it’s possible I have). [I did say she made us both look stupid; I stand by that; see the post.]
Have I made comments that are dismissive of women on this website? Yes. Look at the name of it.
Have I also respectfully said “good point” when I feel anyone — including you — is making one? Yes.
But if you continue to toss out stupid arguments with no rational foundation, then yes, I will call you on them when you name me, accusing me of being unfair, personal attacks, etc.
To put it another way, if you keep failing to live up to your potential, I will call you on it. I hope I’m getting through to you. I’ve no idea if I am.

I have sent you an email in reply to your post wolfe, but after re-reading your post above just now, you may as well delete the mail because I missread your post. I agree with all of your post except 2 things.
1. I do have an axiom, it is that men are not better than women. Obviously this is very brief and simplistic and it’s all I care to say right now because I’ve been banned and have no wish to start new debates when I can’t guarantee that my posts to any discussion will actually get displayed.
2. I don’t think I’ve been tossing out any stupid arguments. I think my points are valid. Any non-sequiturs or insults I make are justifiable because they are within a context of other posters doing exactly that to me.

From what I can understand Wolfe was simply pointing out a logical fault in one of your arguments, (in fact the word he originally used was ‘illogical’) that is not the same as naming you or your arguments stupid.
In this context I tend to see the term illogical as meaning this: Contradicting or disregarding the principles of logic. I think you might have taken the word illogical and thought he meant something different and took offense to that.
I know that I sometimes make the mistake of using non-sequiturs in my arguments, and my doing so is often under some kind of provocation. Having said that, it does not make it justified or reasonable behaviour - just because someone uses those methods does not mean you have to employ them too - they do say two wrongs don’t make a right.

That’s fine; indeed it’s obvious. No need to expand upon it. I’ve no issue with you believing that, and it’s possible to form coherent logical positions from such an axiom. (Note however, that that axiom might not be respected by all on this website).
I won’t get into an argument about stupid arguments, but the very fact that you accused me of calling you stupid and descending to personal attacks when I was at pains to comment rationally, and only on your arguments (indeed on the specifica paras you wrote) is exactly the kind of annoying and irrational activity (in response to rational activity) that I find a waste of time.
You do this sort of thing again and again. You may well do it because you are responding to perceived (or even real) attacks, but it’s not a productive form of behavior for anyone, least of all you.
Enya’s comments in the post immediately above this one appear correct to me.

Now the words there are irrational and stupidity, not illogical.
You are welcome to perceive my paragraph as irrational, illogical or stupid if you wish, but if you care to call my statements either of those things then I would appreciate an explanation of why within the exact same post that you say stupid or rubbish, or whatever, as opposed to 1 or 2 or 3 posts later. You extend that courtesy to male posters and I am simply asking for the same treatment - note, not better treatment and not worse. Hopefully we are now all clear on this.
If you want to know why I disagree with you that that paragraph was irrational or stupid, then that is a separate issue, plus, I already explained where I perceived he was coming from in the post that you criticised so to do so again would be illogical and boring.

Okay here is the confusion. Wolfe’s statement is ambiguous, it can be read either of 2 ways. I read it as him calling my paragraph stupid, whereas you can also read it as him calling VOR irrational and stupid, which I now see is obviously what he meant. Ambiguity sucks. Lucky I’m on the ball.

She was an idiot who contributed nothing, Fem, as a quick perusal of her man-hash will demonstrate. And she’s not you. So why did you drag her into a conversation about whether Wolfe had called you stupid or not?
I’m going to say this as nicely as I can, Fem: most people can look at someone else as separate from themselves. You appear to be incapable of doing so when the other person is female. You interpret any insult levelled against any women for any reason — no matter how justified it may be — as an insult against you, personally.
Having watched you post repeatedly over the better part of a year, I would say that this, along with the irrational compulsions that cause you to obsess over this site, are things you need to have a serious look at with a professional. These things aren’t healthy.
Seriously, Fem, I’m not trying to be insulting. These are real, important psychological issues that you need to address. Please, for Ghu’s sake, talk to a professional about them. The sooner you get these things addressed, the sooner you’ll be a much happier person.
