One in Three Women is Illiterate
Sometimes the statement men are better than women leaves me wanting a little more in the flavor of substance. It’s not often. Like all men, the shortcomings of women are something I’ve learned to accept and move on. However, occasionally we men need to re-evaluate. We need more than rational hypothesizing and logical conjecture. We need facts for the why’s and how’s.
I pose this as a formal theory. Men are better than women at everything because something like 30% of women are illiterate.
Sounds shocking doesn’t it? But really, when do women need to read? Numbers don’t count as reading, so illiteracy does not impede women from writing checks or measuring all the progress they’re not making while they’re not working out at the gym.
Before I get too ahead of myself let me quote some statistics. UNICEF and UNESCO say that two out of every three illiterates is a woman. They give the world-wide feminine literacy rate in the sixtieth percentile, while the male literacy rate towers above that number at nearly 90%. I think you’ll agree that that’s plenty of numerical majesty to spare.
Initially, when I saw the figures I thought to myself, maybe that’s why women are so shitty at everything. Just like the kid who is really shitty at baseball and then it turns out he just needed some glasses. Maybe women just need to learn how to read.
Then I realized the writing on the walls of every cluster fuck women are about to step into is only metaphorical writing. They also don’t need to be able to read to shut the hell up every once in a while and listen when something other than Oprah or an appliance that resembles Oprah is dispensing sound life advice.
Perhaps instead of Easy Bake Ovens and Barbie Dolls this Christmas, mothers should be buying their daughters Hooked on Phonics.

Well good luck whatever, but extra insight is always handy.I don’t think that home schooling is legal where I live anyway. I also don’t think that raising well adjusted children is easy, nor do I think there are any specific things to do that can guarantee children are raised as anyone really wishes.

I know, i’ve considered the social aspects, but there are alot more ways to get your kids involved socially besides school.
I’m definately homeschooling, theres no question about that. I trust my parenting abilities enough that i can raise smart well adjusted children who understand the opposite sex enough not to impregnate or be impregnated by them. Im not definite on the sex specific schools yet, i will let them in on the decision.
I went to an all girls school and I hated my parents for it, I still kinda do. I always got on with boys better, I hated going to an all girls school. Teenage girls are manifestations of pure evil. Combined with home schooling, that is one way to make your children completely out of touch socially with the other sex, which is probably bad for them when they are a teenager. It certainly is one more pain in the ass when you’ve got all those hormones and esteem issues.
My all girl’s school had an incredibly high pregnancy rate, you take girls away from boys and they don’t know how to deal with them, they are incredibly naive, and before you know it there are babies involved.
It might look good on paper but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Yes, unconscious favoritism. I think schools should be gender segregated for that very reason, and also because people perform better academically without the distractions of the opposite sex.
But nevertheless more and more studies are revealing that girls are outperforming boys now for some reason. More than 55% of university students in the US are females and girls do better and better each year in subjects like math which used to be considered a female weak point. I think boys maybe are more distracted in school or more prone to peer pressure that smart people are “geeks” so they focus more on sports and other “manly” things.
I’m going to home school my kids until high school and then send them to girls/boys only schools. I think that would suit their best interests more that regular high schools.
There are actually sociological studies that find girls actually face more hindrances in learning than boys.
They include findings such as subjects like science being taught in a way that specifically appeals to boys and teachers showing more attention to and remembering names of male students over females.

There are many places in the world where women do not even go to school and certainly don’t learn to read because of cultural setbacks.

Although some cultures deny women their right to an education, the fact remains that both sexes have equal potential for learning and can only be judged on an individual level, and not by gender.
Do you know WHY one in three women is illiterate? It is because in many countrys, women can not learn how to read. In afganastan, fewer than 1/3 of children in school are girls. Next time, try to think outside of the box.

Men have about a 5-6 point advantage on standardized IQ tests as compared to women. Yes, that is small. Men are much better at being brilliant (much, much better) and also much much better at being fantastically inept.
Men are more exceptional (good and bad) than women.
It is risible to suggest that one particular random man is more intelligent than one particular random woman, and I’ve been privileged to know a good many intelligent women in my life. But as a group? Yes. Men are smarter than women. Spectacularly so at the top end.
(Men are also probably spectacularly dumber than women at the bottom end, though the science isn’t totally clear on this).

If you are going to correct someone’s grammar, you should at least try not to cite proper syntax as being incorrect. “One in three women is illiterate” is correct, both factually and grammatically. You should google the term ‘prepositional phrase’ and then learn the proper subject-verb agreement when a preposition (such as ‘in’) is used in a sentence, and then come back here and apologise for your ignorance.

Leadership is a man’s thing. Watch 300? Yeah. Life is not all about grades and studying. Men understand that. They rather play a game, understand the uses of the computer than actually bother so much about grades. These may seem fairly useless things but many a time, I see a group of men playing a ball game say soccer, enjoying.. teaming up.. like a brotherhood. That is what gets them to places on top. I think highly of my mother. She cooks, has a job and knows her place. She doesnt try to pretend that there is equality or hail the virtues of her gender. On countless occasions, she has warned me about the shrewdness and deceptive(bitchy) nature of women and on all counts, she agrees that men are better than women.
If I have a daugher, I raise her well. I treat her equal to my son though I make sure I tell her to respect men and only then will she be respected in kind. I wont hit her but I will also not give her any “special rights” that she thinks she should have. I am fine with equality, true equality not the half baked cake the feminists yell for. That would perhaps be because of a little known concept known as the food chain, as well as the fact that most species wouldn’t be endangered if it wasn’t for mankind’s effects on nature. Take polar bears as a prime example, within 5 - 10 years they’ll probably be extinct unless in a zoo, for I very much doubt that within these short years they are going to be able to evolve for the purposes of natural selection.

From toddlers killing themselves with a dometic firearm to having such lack of inspiration or clairvoyance as to choose a fatidic flight, like USAir Flight 427, or to fly with the Kennedies.
What, isn’t it obvious? It’s the dead guy’s fault. Of course species are endangered for a reason. They can’t simply invalidate causality, now can they? They’re endangered from being hunted to the verge of extinction with no planning or foresight whatsoever.
You could blanket plaster natural selection over this, but then you’d be equating human beings to dumb animals. Granted, telling some apart can prove quite vexing at times.
