One in Three Women is Illiterate
Sometimes the statement men are better than women leaves me wanting a little more in the flavor of substance. It’s not often. Like all men, the shortcomings of women are something I’ve learned to accept and move on. However, occasionally we men need to re-evaluate. We need more than rational hypothesizing and logical conjecture. We need facts for the why’s and how’s.
I pose this as a formal theory. Men are better than women at everything because something like 30% of women are illiterate.
Sounds shocking doesn’t it? But really, when do women need to read? Numbers don’t count as reading, so illiteracy does not impede women from writing checks or measuring all the progress they’re not making while they’re not working out at the gym.
Before I get too ahead of myself let me quote some statistics. UNICEF and UNESCO say that two out of every three illiterates is a woman. They give the world-wide feminine literacy rate in the sixtieth percentile, while the male literacy rate towers above that number at nearly 90%. I think you’ll agree that that’s plenty of numerical majesty to spare.
Initially, when I saw the figures I thought to myself, maybe that’s why women are so shitty at everything. Just like the kid who is really shitty at baseball and then it turns out he just needed some glasses. Maybe women just need to learn how to read.
Then I realized the writing on the walls of every cluster fuck women are about to step into is only metaphorical writing. They also don’t need to be able to read to shut the hell up every once in a while and listen when something other than Oprah or an appliance that resembles Oprah is dispensing sound life advice.
Perhaps instead of Easy Bake Ovens and Barbie Dolls this Christmas, mothers should be buying their daughters Hooked on Phonics.

Nicole,
you said:
“Do you honestly wonder why teenage boys have trouble working with teenage girls around.”
No, not really. I don’t think I implied that at all…
“Wouldn’t you find it hard to concentrate. ”
Since you ask, yes, I would…
But not for the reasons you might think.
(I’m assuming that you’re implying that boys can’t concentrate because they’re thinking of sex)
To be perfectly honest, I would have trouble concentrating for the reasons that Dick stated.
Teenagers are immature by definition. They tend to be more self-centered, and less aware of the needs of the people around them. Teenage girls in particular tend to rely on verbal communication (chatter) to build relationships. Putting things together, a teenage girls tend to chatter quite a lot about things that are unimportant to the general public, but are not aware that they are disturbing others.
There are few things that I, personally, try to avoid more than a group of teenage girls. This isn’t a unique point of view among the adult population, either. I suspect as you grow older and reflect on groups of teenage girls interacting, you will see the same thing. I know many women that I grew up knowing from highschool that certainly notice this.
(And no, I don’t find teenage girls attractive. They are children, whether they realize it, or not. Most legal systems agree with this point of view.)
Yes, I find it extremely hard to concentrate with the incessant yammering of women and their nonsense — especially teenage girls. Teenage girls know about enough to fill half an issue of Teen People magazine. Even grown women jaw jack so much you’d think eventually they’d at least stumble onto a decent opinion. Alas, perhaps not every dog has her day.

Do you honestly wonder why teenage boys have trouble working with teenage girls around.
Wouldn’t you find it hard to concentrate.
“Then why in countries that DO allow women an equal education have higher test
scores for girls than they do boys if men are soooo much smarter.”
Nicole,
http://www.singlesexschools.org/advantages-forboys.htm
[Our] results suggest that single sex schools give an even greater academic
advantage to boys than for girls. This directly contradicts the popular
educational myth that boys do better in the classroom if girls are present to
set them a good example. One could reasonably conclude from this study that both
boys and girls are academically disadvantaged in co-educational schools, but
that the disadvantage is greater for the boys.
“…boys who attend single-sex schools may do better in terms of maturity and
social adjustment, than boys who attend coed schools.”
Most coed elementary schools and highschools have at least twice as many female
teachers as male teachers; and for the last couple of generations there has been
a push to teach in more and more in a “female friendly” way in order to produce
more female professionals, without any major concern to the change in the
quality of education for boys (until now).

In reference to some of the earlier comments, I don’t understand how the GCSEs being easy explains why women generally score higher. That is absolutely the most backwards thinking I have ever seen. If you don’t even need to be a little bit intelligent to pass, then why is it so much harder for men? Your explanation: Because women work harder. So, you’re telling me that women work harder and score better, but they are inferior? It sounds to me like we have at least two up on you. Although, I don’t even see why this needs to be a compitition in the first place. If you hate women so much, don’t talk to one, don’t fuck one, don’t marry one, and for gods sake please don’t have children.
Wow! Andy agrees with my point. It is true that in the third world women are so often treated as baby-makers, housecleaners and little more. Therefore it is a fallacy to claim that women are stupid because they are not in the position to recieve education. Your argument doesn’t work in an MEDC, Dick!
Dick -
I’d hate to think that you are blaming women on a global scale for not knowing how to read. Considering many countries, especially third world ones where women’s illiteracy is high, is due to the fact that they are not allowed to receive an education. This due in large amount to the patriarchal government and family structures in which they live. Find numbers for me that detail how many women in which countries can read and try and find a study that shows why. Then, get back to me.
Emrys: this is better than a trip to the zoo
i dont know what zoo youve been to but its a hell of a lot better than this! here u dont have a large variety of animals. and there is a lot less reading at the zoo. Better grammar too.
aaahahahahahahahahahaha. This shit is hilarious! I just wanted to thank you all for having such a great sense of humour. Especially Rosa’s post, even though it was real tough to read your point is well taken. And of course, Dick, your sincerity is astounding! Keep up the great work all of you!
Oh I know what you mean. If a BassMaster catches fish…
It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been called that, Emrys.
If you know what I mean.
-Dick
It’s “Emrys” with an “s”. You know, like the name? It’s right there, above my comment, you can’t miss it. Although “Emery” is also a name, but that clearly isn’t what I typed. You’d think with all your focus on grammar and spelling, you would have picked up on a little common courtesy like spelling my name right. I didn’t call you DickMaster, did I?
And you’re not going to change my mind about this being a joke. Even if that wasn’t the author’s intent, it’s still pretty damn funny, watching one retard spout and another babble in response. This is better than a trip to the zoo.
Emry, you couldn’t be more wrong. This site is in no way a joke.
Women have been riding on the coattails of men since the beginning of time. They’re recent delusions to the contrary are embarrassing.
This site is about providing men with a place where they can go without getting a slap in the face for stating the obvious: men are better than women in every possible way — and they are also way smarter.
If you think that’s funny, then this site is definitely not for you.
-Dick
People, people…this site is a joke! C’mon, it’s very cleverly done, but not so much so that it should have this many people fooled. Really.
This guy wanted attention, so he made a website about a controversial subject, possibly picked at random or possibly stemming from some personal grievance, and now he has a stream of posters feeding his ego! Don’t be offended, this is no more real than a typical off-colour joke! If I tell you the one about the Invisible Man getting buggered, will you flame me then? Just grit your teeth and laugh, that’s what it’s meant for.
Ok Dick
If you believe in helping, I hope you are a volunteer on a literacy course, to help both men and women, who are disenfranchised through not being able to read nor write, and do not intend to keep sniggering about those less fortunate than ourselves.
that would be a good thing to do.
Why not tell us a little about yourself, then maybe we women who make up the greater part of your viewers can help!
Oh My GOD! Developing world means that families will send the person most likely to work to school, the boys.
This is bollocks, we are living in the developed world here. Get a grip!
Well caveman has a perfectly adequate comment, surely if men were so much more qualified for the job and were driven enough to get it, then it would be women who are unemployed and men would have all the work. But shock horror, there are many unemployed men and many employed women.
Oh dear Dick, this seems to destroy your theory.
“I Hate Chicks” does have a point; there seem to be far more male tramps, or at least there are a dispraportianate number of men selling the Big Issue, an interesting observation perhaps? You see if all men are more competent than women by the inherent virtues of their gender then surely unemployed men would be employed at the expense of employed women and thus the result would be that all of those who are unemployed are women, this however is clearly not the case. I wonder why?
I just realized that first comment to this was by an apparently illiterate woman.
Jesus, just when a chick thinks she might be right in something, she finds out she’s wrong because another woman screws it up.
Rosa, this is saying one in three women are illiterate, at least try to spell words right before countering the statement…
Ive met sociopathic women, pathological liars, pregnant teens and probably murders and rapists too that were women, but illiterate women? Never.
