One in Three Women is Illiterate
Sometimes the statement men are better than women leaves me wanting a little more in the flavor of substance. It’s not often. Like all men, the shortcomings of women are something I’ve learned to accept and move on. However, occasionally we men need to re-evaluate. We need more than rational hypothesizing and logical conjecture. We need facts for the why’s and how’s.
I pose this as a formal theory. Men are better than women at everything because something like 30% of women are illiterate.
Sounds shocking doesn’t it? But really, when do women need to read? Numbers don’t count as reading, so illiteracy does not impede women from writing checks or measuring all the progress they’re not making while they’re not working out at the gym.
Before I get too ahead of myself let me quote some statistics. UNICEF and UNESCO say that two out of every three illiterates is a woman. They give the world-wide feminine literacy rate in the sixtieth percentile, while the male literacy rate towers above that number at nearly 90%. I think you’ll agree that that’s plenty of numerical majesty to spare.
Initially, when I saw the figures I thought to myself, maybe that’s why women are so shitty at everything. Just like the kid who is really shitty at baseball and then it turns out he just needed some glasses. Maybe women just need to learn how to read.
Then I realized the writing on the walls of every cluster fuck women are about to step into is only metaphorical writing. They also don’t need to be able to read to shut the hell up every once in a while and listen when something other than Oprah or an appliance that resembles Oprah is dispensing sound life advice.
Perhaps instead of Easy Bake Ovens and Barbie Dolls this Christmas, mothers should be buying their daughters Hooked on Phonics.

Other than in post-modernism, possessing logic is not a hindrance to understanding literature, even “advanced” literature, whatever that may be. Indeed, quite the contrary.
As for insulting women, women are welcome to infer insults all they wish. The act of saying one thing is better does not mean one thinks poorly of the lesser item. You confuse relatives with absolutes.

Hmm..I wonder how many men are illiterate. It’s interesting to see that the majority women usually excel in English and other languages. While most of today’s men seem to think too literally and logically to comprehend advanced liturature. But you seem to busy insulting women to understand that.
Oh I realise my error now. I am sorry Mike that I attacked you unfairly in this instance. That said, your post was not exactly fair either, since I wasn´t really talking to you - and I think you telling me that my opinions are worthless are a lot more nasty, than me commenting on an error thinking you were someone else.
My opinions are not worthless just because you say they are. In fact, my opinion is just as valid as that of yours, Dicks, Fem´s and anybody who posts onto this site. If you don´t like to hear people´s opinions complain to Dick, he is the the one who set up a comment´s section.

That´s funny. It´s perfectly acceptable for a man to write an article claiming that all women suck at computers, and when a woman says the same of men, it is all a tragedy and there is a huge fuss. You can replace most comments about women here with men too. So you have debunked these findings? Of course you have….that is because you want to believe the opposite is true, that men are better at everything. Quite frankly, they are not. Women are not better, or worse, just different. You either accept that, or get bitter and twisted as you have.

If you bothered to check, you would find that we have already debunked all those statistics but that would be too much of acting like a female. Why bother to check when you can concentrate on your ignorance of the facts.

Firstly I didn’t spell “incompetent” wrong, that was Matt, so the comment she made;
“At least you managed to spell incompetent this time.” was unjustified, (as is everything you said after the first line of your post).
I don’t have a problem with that.
What bugged me at the time was the fact that Effing Pot’s first post contained only a period/full stop, clearly in error.
Then, in her second post, she started sprouting crap about men being incompetent with computers, showing total hypocrisy, then tried to insult our intelligence by denying the fact that she screwed up her first post, which has since been deleted by Dick.
I called her a retard, not the most harsh of words. I feel no need to apologise nor explain myself any further.
It is possible I deleted it. I delete comments that look like spam. That one may have slipped through my radar. If it did, I apologize.
