Honestly I think that device is a good idea. It would help a lot of women. Especially in certain places in Africa there are a lot of weak people due to the lack of food and clean water. They need protection. There is a big problem with AIDS as well, so women need more protection. Stupid feminists.

A boyfriend however is a different matter. His girlfriend invites him over after a break up. They have sex. He leaves for the hospital in great agony. He will probably not file a complaint, because she can insist she never gave consent, and he’ll have a rape charge hanging over his head, or she can claim that she forgot she was wearing the device and didn’t remove it. Perfect crime. Expect to read about it in your newspaper before long.

If it was physically possible for women to rape a person, they would certainly do it. They do at least as horrible things as well, including false allegations of rape against men. The fact that sexual rape is a crime committable only by men is the reason why wimmin keep bringing up the issue. Rape is a never-ending fuel for them to pump up and justify male antagonism. Factual dissonance – a buddy of mine passed out drunk one night when we were in college, only to wake up to an obsessive girl (whom he had very clearly expressed his disinterest in) blowing him without any kind of permission or consciousness on his part. Was it a fucked up violation of privacy, personal space, and explicit wishes? Absolutely. Did he sue her, go to the college administration/any other manner of authority figures? No. In fact, we made fun of him for weeks afterwards because he got raped (orally… at least) and he’s a dude. But you know what? He was asking for it because he was promiscuous, flirted with girls a lot, and passed out while she was around. The line of logic that claims that a man can’t get raped by a woman (though it is rare) assumes that a man’s dick is happy only when his brain is. Case-in-point, the oft-embarrassing middle school music class boner.

So, for some of the women out there who see a double standard – yeah, it’s there, but it’s not that only men can rape women, but rather that only women have the right to claim victimhood. If a man complains about something – even getting raped – then he’s a pussy. I’m not saying women deserve to get raped, but ladies, imagine having to hold yourself to that standard and not even complain about it (which would of course make you a pussy). Of course, all of this neglects the fact that men can also get raped by other men (and there are, in fact, buildings full of this kind of activity, commonly known as prisons), but nobody gives a shit, least of all other men. So hop on off that cross.

So I don’t know, I’m torn (no pun intended). It can be so so so so so benificial and great, but it can be so so so so so dangerous. But it speaks loads about what kind of world we live in.
