Think of it this way. If you’re drunk behind the wheel, you’re held accountable. So why aren’t people who are drunk behind their own bodies held accountable? I say no. The other fair alternative is hold people accountable who are hit by drunk drivers. That sounds absurd to me.

I operate under the position that no one is responsible for your emotions and feelings other than yourself. Just because you don’t like it or understand it doesn’t mean you don’t decide how to feel. I’m not advocating rape, but emotional scarring is how you decided to respond. Be responsible for your own life, get the help you need and move on. No, pursuing a civil case and not a criminal case is not “help”; if anything it is indicative of being disingenuous and should not be on the rise as it appears to be.

There is a difference between someone saying they were raped when taking a consensus and officially reporting it. Therapists and doctors are allowed to document evidence for rape and submit it as long as no identifying information is tied to the victim.

There is a reason why so much incredible evidence is required in a rape case. Because women LIE about being raped and our court system won’t allow women to pull the wool over their eyes like that.

I was raped by a relative, my uncle. Once. I was so scared to tell anyone, the worst thing would have been if my perants didnt believe me, I trusted my uncle for years and then my trust was completely shattered, in all humanbeings, I couldnt trust my family, my trust in men was completely screwed I couldnt have a normal relationship for years afterwards, it ruined sex for me I coulndt trust my mother and father to support me in putting the arsehole behind bars, I felt completely alone. When I finnaly did decide to take action I was put through the most grueling process of my life by the police, because accusation of rape is a serious thing, in the end I waited to long to report it and had no case.
so dont for one minuet sit there and think you know what its like to be raped and have the horrible shame you feel afterwards, especially you dick masterson, your weak, how dare you say women dont report it because we can roll our eyes at it.
