Look ill make this point every girl i know would rather have guy friends then girl friends why because guys don’t bitch about stupid shit, would rather spend there time doing interesting things, and well they don’t turn everything that happens into a big deal.

The answer lies in Anglo-Saxon culture. Anglo-American women are reared in a puritanical culture where they ‘possess’ sex in a society where it is a clandestine commodity. Hmm. I am a woman and a lot of the behaviour you are describing I can actually agree with. I hate it when I say other woman act like children, or victims when they are not. On the other hand, I also see this behaviours in men. Not just one weird guy that act likes a girl, but really a whole damn lot of men.

It seems to me, that you are blaming women for this behaviour. I do wonder, where do you people live? I talk to Americans and I think they are right. Most American women ARE exactly the way you describe (but not all of them). I live in the Netherlands, and I don’t, honestly, see the behaviours that are described as much as they are in America. Only Dutch girls who are influenced by American media seem to act more materialistic (ohoh! wantaring!) and stupid.

But it’s not capacity, its culture. The fact that American women are much more indoctrinated with dr.phil/oprah moralistic crap is something that leads me to the believe that media and culture are of a very big influence on girls and their self image and behaviour towarding men and relationships.

My boyfriend respects me as I do him, and we have a very healthy relationship that both of us benefit from financially, emotionally and otherwise.
