Space…the Male Frontier

If you’re anything like me, you have never asked yourself why a woman has never been to the moon because the answer is obvious.

Actually, the answer may surprise you.

The male instinct is a good one — it’s solid when the chips are down, and in this case it tells us men that women have never been to the moon because the moon is chalk full of science — like a robot, the natural enemy of womankind (both technology and robots). This is absolutely true, however, only true in the way that there are no unicorns underwater. Yes, unicorns cannot breathe water, but they also do not fucking exist. So what are we talking about here.

The real reason that women have never been to the moon has very little to do with their astounding ability to turn even the simplest of technologies into a catastrophic fucking unsolvable mystery on par with Stonehenge.

Remember the last time you were making some hot-hot jokes around a woman or womans, or the last time you were enjoying a cinematographic masterpiece like Die Hard 3, Payback, or The South Park Movie — or any other time that you were trying to mind your own fucking business?

Well what happened?

That’s right, said woman or womans ruined it with a torrent of shitty comments and/or nay saying. Perhaps something like, “Nicolas Cage thinks he’s so great” (in a sarcastic tone though. Nicholas Cage only thinks he’s so great because he’s fucking awesome), or maybe a “those are fake”, “you only think you’re funny”, or a “cigarettes cause cancer”.

Cigarettes cause cancer? No shit, I didn’t know that. Guess what talking any more during Face Off causes?

Can you imagine this manner of hijink aboard the USS Space Ship to the moon?

That’s why women will never go to the moon, because of their piss-poor, wet-blanket attitudes.

Female you are so stupid. Why would you continue to speak here when nobody likes you? Seriously you need help.

For God’s sake, you are so pedantic. Here, I’ve fixed it. All your worries are simply over a missing comma.

Perhaps you have a heightened libido, because rape is about power and control.

So if you think that it isn’t about rape and control, then you are basing your opinion that it is instead about sexual attraction, on your own desires, and extending these desires to all would be and actual rapists, and that is illogical, and must be attributed to a heightened libido on your part.

I don’t think I care to know how often you have these thoughts. The fact that you have had them even once is disturbing. Do you seriously feel okay to have such thoughts? Does it not disturb you?

Well, you’re wrong. Something about leading a horse to water comes to mind.

Rape really is about power and control. By your own words you are unable to understand this and think that every man imagines having sex with every woman he sees, and, as you have admitted that you believe rape is about sexual attraction rather than dominance, then you obviously have a heightened libido.

I have no idea where you came up with my views on this.

My present position is that power and control is a factor in motivating rape. I mean, how could it not be? However, Feminist dogma is wrong when it claims that these are the only factors that motivate a rapist. They’re not.

As to the issue of how men think, for you to argue the point is simply ludicrous. It’s like Helen Keller arguing the fine points of portrait painting with Van Gogh. Helen can hold all the opinions she likes, but she’ll always be wrong.

You really should note that no man has disagreed and a couple have explicitly agreed. Do you believe that men on this site will not point out when they’re in disagreement about something? Do you believe the explicit agreements to be unusual cases as well — particularly considering there have been no explicit male disagreements?

Perhaps you have a heightened libido because rape is about power and control.

Regardless of your inaccuracies on my positions, the above statement is still illogical.

I recognize that women don’t understand that words have concrete meanings, nor is logic something that comes naturally to them. Therefore, allow me to beak down your statement so that you can see why it makes no logical sense.

You posit that rape being about power and control is the cause of my heightened libido, so let’s flip the wording to make it conform to a standard if-then statement:

IF (Rape is about power and control)
THEN (Perhaps Dakota has a heightened libido)
ENDIF

Do you see how the statement breaks down? Regardless of what motivates a rapist, it has no logical impact on my libido. They are separate subjects entirely.

@ Dakota- To fantasize such a thought about someone you truly despise, driven by anger, is quite different than fantasizing about murdering just to “see what it’s like”, or worse yet, fantasizing about murdering a beloved family member.

This has something to do with the emotional value that you put into the word ‘fantasize’. Look it up, and re-evaluate.

That’s a retarded point. First of all - what kind of rape are we talking about? Because if we assume that you’re talking about the most common rape-scenario, then you are so far off it’s amusing.

Pull yourself together ‘female’. Give me some proof or rockhard evidence to back your theories up, because it looks like you’re way over your head.

What Dakota Smith said is the truth, once again.

We men think about sex. A lot of men get turned on by underage women.

Rape has crossed my mind plenty of times. I have planned murdering my own mother, just for the fun of it. I have toyed a lot with the idea of forcing my ex-girlfriend to give me a blowjob. I also deeply want to grab a feminist by the throat, and beat her to death. Splattering the blood all over the walls.

I want to kick the shit out of everything around me when I’m angry. I’d love to commit murder, just to see what it’s like. When I see a girl in a bar, i imagine her mouth filled up with my sperm, and that i slap her on the face.

The fact that i imagine these things makes me NORMAL. The fact that i say this, makes me HEALTHY - but in the eyes of society? It makes me a lunatic.

Again, I beg to differ. Sometimes it is entirely normal to fantasize this way. The line is crossed if you act on the fantasy.

Every time my daughters call me at midnight crying because they miss me, I fantasize about murdering my ex in cold blood. I’m not a cruel man, so I don’t fantasize about doing it painfully or slowly. A .45 caliber bullet through the brain at close range, quickly and painlessly, would suffice.

However, I have never and will never act on this fantasy. It would be ethically wrong and utterly foolish for many, many obvious reasons.

If while listening to my little girls crying the thought of eliminating the heartless bitch who’s the cause of it didn’t cross my mind, I would be a very strange man indeed.

Ah. No. Projecting much? Women are quite capable of controlling themselves from imagining what every single man they see looks like in bed.

Thankfully not all men have a need to demoralise women. If you are going to debate this point, then explain to me why some men rape 80 year old grandmothers, infant babies and even animals. Sexual attraction, is it?

Women don’t have the strong libido that a young man does.
A woman could turn on and then just stop. For a man that would be difficult.

Women demoralise most everyone they are near simply because women are bad company..

Really. That is simply what seemed obvious based on your words

No, it only seemed obvious to you. No one but you made that assumption.

Kind of makes it sound like men are nothing but sexual animals with nothing else on their minds or capable of any other higher thought.

Just look at the civilization around you, Female. It was built and is maintained almost exclusively by men. Obviously men are capable of higher thought. It’s only you that assumes otherwise, in defiance of objective reality.

Mmm, or perhaps it is an assumption that is simply to easy to make when other people make comments along the lines of, the only thing a man is thinking about when he looks at you is what you would like in bed.

You’re the only one who made that assumption, Female. Why do you think that is?

Women are quite capable of controlling themselves from imagining what every single man they see looks like in bed.

No, Female, you miss the point. Men and women simply think differently. Period.

The reason you get all bent out of shape about it is because you are entirely ruled by your emotions and sex is tied up with emotion. You are incapable of controlling your reactions to your emotions and you assume that men are also incapable.

This is an incorrect assumption. Given that every man’s first thought about every woman is about sex, the fact that we’re almost never acting on these thoughts is proof positive that we’re capable of controlling ourselves.

Perhaps you have a heightened libido

You’ll notice the male posters have agreed with me rather than disagreed. My libido is therefore not particularly different from any another man’s.

Perhaps you have a heightened libido because rape is about power and control.

This statement makes no sense. Assuming that you’re correct and that rape is about power and control, how would this cause me to have a heightened libido?

Why? Because it is therefore too easy to construct the leap from every man that looks at you imagines having sex with you, to, everyman who looks at you is therefore a wannabe/potential rapist.

Dakota Smith said:That’s true only if you incorrectly assume that men are incapable of controlling their urges, Female.

That is one of the basic incorrect assumptions of the feminist movement in general, though I understand where it comes from.

Really. That is simply what seemed obvious based on your words that the only thing a man is thinking of when he looks at a woman is what she would like while he was giving her an orgasm. Kind of makes it sound like men are nothing but sexual animals with nothing else on their minds or capable of any other higher thought.

Dakota Smith said:When people make such dramatic and ludicrous incorrect assumptions, it’s usually because they recognize that they themselves are incapable of controlling their own urges and then project that lack of control onto others.

Mmm, or perhaps it is an assumption that is simply to easy to make when other people make comments along the lines of, the only thing a man is thinking about when he looks at you is what you would like in bed.

Ah. No. Projecting much? Women are quite capable of controlling themselves from imagining what every single man they see looks like in bed.

Dakota Smith said:They’re wrong. We can and do control ourselves. Otherwise, as you suggest, women would be raped all the time by totally random men.

Perhaps you have a heightened libido because rape is about power and control. Thankfully not all men have a need to demoralise women. If you are going to debate this point, then explain to me why some men rape 80 year old grandmothers, infant babies and even animals. Sexual attraction, is it?
