Think about a movie like ‘Drowning By Numbers’, where men are murdered for no apparent reason, without a hint of condemnation. Think about ‘Pelle the Conqueror’, where a man is castrated by his wife for infidelity, and the scene is presented to us as humorous. Contempt for men is quite pervasive in western society.

Alot of the jibber jabber you might experience right before a romp has much to do with a female trying to erect a ‘hazard/I’m different’ signal instead of you.
