The only reason women would comment on a a man’s beard, is if the face it was attached to was easy on the eyes. Commenting on the beard allows one to inspect it closely to see how much it changes the appearance of the hot wearer, allowing one to linger their gaze on said beard wearer’s attractive face. l think its funny how women obsess over vanity. So much so that, unfullfilled in their own vain self obsessions, they feel it necessary to dispense uninvited and unwanted personal grooming tips to the men around them. This just makes me larf and a warm glow overcomes me that can last days when l fail to conform to their incredibly sterotypical adherence to social expectations and popular culture.

l usually only shave once a fortnight. By the end of the 2nd wk lm starting to look a bit wooly and sometimes women l know will actually be startled by me. Poor easily and perpetually frightened dears that they can often be. When l summarily ignore their ‘advice’ it really wrangles the at times. Sometimes they blush with embarassment at being ignored as failure to validate this sort of proclivity in women tends to help them realise how inappropriate they are being. That and the fact that a strong guy who doesnt buy into their all ‘knowingness’ makes em feel a bit inadequate. LOL.

Its rather amusing that women think personal grooming makes that much difference to a man’s experience of the world. l’ve never had a loan knocked back or missed a deal because of my appearance. And once the gals know you got a fat wallet they could care less about personal grooming habits. Substance trumps form, in the long run, every single time.
