Honestly every guy is different. Every girl is different. Lumping things together and making black and white decisions will only make things worse. It isn’t the men or women who are to blame but society as a whole. Society honestly feels that the men should propose if a couple is ever going to get married and that the women must wait until he does (if at all). We’ve all been brain-washed by TV shows, textbooks, newspapers…even our friends…into what we should and shouldn’t do based on our gender. Society frowns upon a man being beaten up by a woman and only takes it seriously if it is a woman who is being beaten up, but it isn’t the woman’s fault for that. It’s the public as a whole. Yes women are seen as better at certain things but if you take it apart, some men are MUCH better at cleaning and taking care of children than women are and some women are MUCH better at working and “bringing home the bacon” than men are. It depends on the relationship and the individual. My girlfriend makes up more muscle than me and likes to work in dirty jobs such as cleaning grease and doing physical work. She also runs on emotions (not a good thing). I am the complete opposite….I run on logic and try to think things through and I don’t have much muscle. Then again when we get older, it won’t really matter anymore. I do like doing the dirty jobs as well especially physical labour. We are both there for each other emotionally and physically. I chose to be with her because I respected her for who she is…she wasn’t a princess who wanted to be pampered by her guy and doesn’t expect any gifts. Yeah some girls are bitches just like some men are dicks. Even though women tend to live longer, they have a higher chance of getting dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease than men do and I would rather die knowing what is going on around me instead of dying with knowing nobody and being bedridden and unable to speak or swallow or move. Genetics definitely play a role with genders but it is only generalized in textbooks and studies…there will always be a minority that is more feminine or more masculine regardless of gender or testosterone/estrogen levels.
