Commericals and shows which depict men as idiots are actually written by men to stroke the egos of women so they will buy more of the useless crap that women buy.

I think men shot themselves in the foot with that one then. First of all, the advertising sector contains more female employees than almost any other American corporate field (except teaching — but most don’t consider that corporate — and nursing which was always a bit female heavy). In the past 30 years, women have entered the field of television production and writing at an increase of almost 300% over what was common in the early 70’s.

It may have started out as a savvy ad campaign, but it’s rolled out of control and now the women actually believe the men are idiots who cannot function without a woman behind the scenes….and if the men *let* this ball roll out of bounds…then maybe the women are right.

Sadly it seems some minion of the advertising world has either read this article or discovered the concept on their own. I won’t gross you out without details, but on Australian tv at least, the final bastion of poor taste in advertising has been crossed, and Dick’s original point is now without exception…

That story brought tears to my eyes. It must really hurt you to see the young being so badly indoctrinated in the ways of women.

A good friend of mine just married a horrible bitch of a woman who treats him like shit all because he truly believes in his heart that relationships are supposed to be like the ones on television, with the women always nagging about something and the men just dealing with it or being idiots. The wedding was like a funeral. I feel like I’ve lost my friend to this beast. She can’t let him out alone and when she comes out with him she gets wasted and embarasses herself and us.

According to television, and all pop culture, it’s completely normal to be unhappy at the hands of some awful woman. I think its a bigger deal than this article implies. What about my little nephews? I cringe every time they let thier little girl friend pick the game or go first. She’s learned to be demanding and entitled, and they’re learning to accept it.
