You come across as a thinker Ondine, at my age I respect that more than anything these days. I also generally show people respect (both genders) untill they prove to me I have no need to. I have nothing against equality in principal but realise it's more a philosophy than a reality. what most women today call equality is anything but, that's my beef and will likely always be so untill it changes. Can I suggest you get some sleep, hopefully that's not chemical related. Had some experience with speed myself, not a good idea. Best wishes from my end, again hopefully you manage some sleep, ten days without sleep isn't good for the mind. You'll likely start to see the ceiling breath or some other wierd shit, lol, be lucky.
Thanks for the compliment btw

Okay. I respect that. And I agree. And I basically totally believe everything you say to be true. I'm not a feminist. To be honest, I haven't slept in ten days, and I admit that I am not thinking well. I also admit that at many times I make mistakes, and I frequently laugh at myself. But true, I am not at all what one would classify as typical. I have been told that by many many people. I am not a feminist. Maybe I sound like one sometimes. I stand up less for women, and more for just the few women I know who I choose to be around (because they are so unlike other women I know)

I actually feel like I am sounding kind of pointless right now. Sorry about that.

Point is, I agree. I like discussions, because sometimes I learn from them, because they are a good way for me to interact with other people, which is something I suck at, and because I meet people with brains. Another reason I have always hung out with men. I can't believe how few women don't like cars, or know a damn thing about their makeup. Makeup of cars, I mean.

I am so totally going to stop talking now. I'm actually annoying myself. But thanks Harry, for having a brain, and putting things in a way that I can accept. You seem like a fairly amazing man, from what I can see so far.

@ondine:Females only deserve the right to equal prize money if they have the ability to compete with men.Which they DONT.Lets face it,men are far better at sports, any physical work like construction,at business and overall intelligence. If you want a couple of reasons on females being better than men Id say nagging,on a more serious note females are better at showing off their emotions like love for something/their kids etc.

I do agree you are a woman with logic and are not some dumb cunt who resorts to shaming tactics. But if you look at life over the past 4000 yrs,you yourself can see why men are superior to women.

Count the sets and games played Ondine, or are you intimating female games are more physically and mentally intense? The true test would be to have them play each other and not some farcical game like that one that Billy gene king played (if I have her name correct). Mentally is obviously another measure altogether. You have to remember (accepting what you've said of yourself as true). You are far from the average female, if nothing else, the very fact you can hold a conversation putting forward real opinions and not resorting to 'your a fag' comments.

To the question are men better than women? In a lot of ways I'd have to say yes. To the question are women better than men in some ways? I'd have to say, used to be. The fact women turned life into a competition between themselves and men intimates to me that women felt that there was something to prove. In many ways women feel inferior to men. Is this the product of men or women themselves? Inability to laugh at yourselves, high heels, driving 4x4's when they only use them to take children to schools, the very fact they feel the need to compete, all indications women feel inferior. You yourself said something like women can never win, why bother trying? Again accepting what you've said of yourself as true, you have nothing to prove to anyone, be comfortable with yourself and at the end of the day if someone has a problem with you. 'Fuck 'em', thier problem. I have to say, for someone that says she isn't a feminist, you sound like one at times.

Harry, mentally there is no way to prove all men are better than all women. Physically, however, men do simply have the body type allowing them to put on muscle faster, and in greater quantities. There are great women athletes. Now it is true that basically, none of these women could match the male athletes, as in Wimbledon, however if you consider their physiological makeup, then you can know why it is as fair to let them earn the same amount in Wimbledon. The woman who wins will have worked just as hard as the man.

''If we are to judge, judge when you meet a person.''

Shame women couldn't all those decades ago untill and including present day. Again you're pointing out the faults of generalization. It still doesn't detract from the FACT that women now profit from law given privilege. Another example, I now believe the prize money for Wimbledon for men and women is now equal. Which if you look at the games and sets played for the male to win the prize you'll find he has actually played/worked more to achieve the same prize as his female counterpart. Why not just get rid of the gender devide in competition and let them play each other? We all know why that'll never happen. Female athletes would moan their heads off if it were to happen because they would cease to earn.

Schlaer, I could not agree more, Abigail's comment was well thought, fairly thorough, and respectful. It was fairly evenly matched, too, by RB, however I believe his argument to be slightly more biased on the side of men. I also do not agree with the idea that all men have a streak of transcendence in them, whereas no women do. Or that women can't reach full genius capability.

First of all, to follow how you describe transcendence, the ability to look inside the "soul", think of shamans. I do not mean men and women who claim to be shamans because they have done studies, but those who are chosen, those who give up their lives simply to help others and look inside themselves. Some of these are women, just as some are men. Women who have uncanny knowledge of the world, who seem, for lack of another word, magical. These women are selfless.

Genius is a word up for debate. It can be, yes, IQ, or can be classified as an extraordinary talent in a field of creativity or such. I know various women, personally, who have been expertly tested and classified as geniuses, some due to I.Q. level, some due to their thought process, levels of compassion, creativity in art, writing, etc. Some women who have all these things. Some of these women, in fact, were forced to be tested, and found to be geniuses, when they did not want to be, did not want a "title".

In Buddhism, women have been said to reach enlightenment. Women today still practice mediation, peace, and selflessness.

Some people may be born with that which they can use to possibly gain superiority. That is just how it works. However, some men may not, and definitely some women are born this way. It is impossible to prove superiority in a general sex. It is just ignorant to claim men are better than women, or the other way around.

Genetics, up bringing, education, internal strength, will power, location, everything we meet in our lives and are born with contribute to human growth. You don't look at a female child and say, "That child will grow up to be a whore" or some such language. She might grow up to be the next top doctor in neurophysiology. Or she may just be a wonderful, quiet woman, an artist.

If we are to judge, judge when you meet a person. Interact with them. Judge them, not the gender. People can change, for better or worse. There are female and male geniuses alike. Sadly, there aren't enough of either. But maybe that can change.

abigail, i just read that whole conversation and you put foward a bloody good argument, better then i could. BUT, also better then most any other women could, which shows you as an individual are better, not women in general.

"Madonna" set one of the TOP WORST examples of what a "lady" or "attractive woman" is in the last 30 years.

Perhaps in all of human history.

Only in America do women EXPECT to be called "Madonna" and "ladies" with any amount of "respect" -->>> while being badly behaved, gum chewing, rolling around on the floor with their belly buttons pussies hanging out, looking like they smell bad, flashing their pussies on the internet and in public ..... WHORES.

@RB – Actually Abigail does NOT understand. Because she’s a whoomin, and because she believes Madonna was “more successfulâ€? than Van Gogh. When nothing could be farther than the truth.

I suspect that that’s what she understood previously, and probably even now. If she has thought about what I said, then she is bound to have understood. She has the logical capability to do so.

On Madonna – my view of the female gender degraded by a considerable degree after I saw ‘Material Girl’ and the following it commanded. A song about a gold-digging whore – being worshipped by millions of women. Fuck. That. Shit.

@RB - Actually Abigail does NOT understand. Because she's a whoomin, and because she believes Madonna was "more successful" than Van Gogh. When nothing could be farther than the truth.

Nor could her OWN BEHAVIOR be any further away from the very meaning of the name she bears. "Madonna" is supposed to be a RESPECTFUL address meaning "my lady".

But Madonna is no "lady" and she is no goddam "artist" either.

She's trash.
Always has been.
Always will be.

Remember "Borderline"?
She LOOKED like she SMELLED bad.

"My lady"??????

Please.

Menarebetterthanwomen.

Abigail MAY understand eventually.

Chris, exactly. Women only desire the results of their achievements. That is why they never achieve anything conspicuous. Men desire the achievements themselves.

Abigail, glad you understand.

"Van Gogh sold 2 of his works during his lifetime. Madonna sold 200 million of hers. Who is more successful?"

That depends on your definition of "SUCCESS".

Madonna is a talentless non-singer by her own admission..... packaged and sold like Microsoft Windows to anyone willing and stupid enough to buy that garbage.

Britney, Paris, Madonna are all worthless attention whore commodities.. WHORES who banged DJs to play their music... flashed their polluted paparazzi pussies in public.... and fucked men on camera and then pretended they were NOT whores.

COMPARED TO VAN GOGH THEY ARE PROOF THAT ALL WOMEN ARE WHORES. THE SHINING EXAMPLE FOR EVERY WOMAN TO FOLLOW.

They are the Macdonald's hamburger of the entertainment world. You know exactly what it's going to taste like - BEFORE you buy it.

CRAP.

VAN GOGH painted. And he will live on forever without having to compromise his integrity or dignity... or even trying.... and he even got to be an artist.

Madonna, Paris and Britney are still HOPING TO be artists. And they will NEVER Accomplish it -because they are common whores more content with however many people will grovel at their feet for absolutely NOTHING.

Again, the efforts of a person are hard to track, identify and measure accurately. A person may work very hard superficially, but gain nothing intellectually.

Mugging up a bunch of textbooks, or learning how to play the piano is not hard work according to me.

The garage band musician may penetrate infinitely deeper into the mysteries of life than the member of Congress. Then the garage band musician may remain in oblivion throughout his life, and the Member of Congree may write a hundred books on every conceivable subject. Who is more successful?

Also, we can never reach our full potential, no matter how hard we work. It is always a fraction of our potential that we use up. I'd gladly place any person who has reached his/her highest potential, above all the rest of the people who haven't. But such a person does not exist, and has not existed.
