The garage band musician may penetrate infinitely deeper into the mysteries of life than the member of Congress. Then the garage band musician may remain in oblivion throughout his life, and the Member of Congree may write a hundred books on every conceivable subject. Who is more successful?

Van Gogh sold 2 of his works during his lifetime. Madonna sold 200 million of hers. Who is more successful?

Also, we can never reach our full potential, no matter how hard we work. It is always a fraction of our potential that we use up. I’d gladly place any person who has reached his/her highest potential, above all the rest of the people who haven’t. But such a person does not exist, and has not existed.

To believe that we are superior to another person because of our genetical superiority would be inhuman. But, to compare the accomplishments of one person to another is a complex task, which will encompass far more than whether s/he has worked hard to become a chartered accountant.

We never know what a person’s fullest potential is, and where it leads to.

Chris is right. Even when women do earn enough to support themselves(which is very rare), they take more than give. This leaves out a minuscle percentage of women who actually contribute something to society.

Men do contribute more to society than women, but some women have achieved great things. Of course, men’s accomplishments greatly outnumber those of women, but some women are still very capable beings.

Also, I am not saying ALL women can be better than ALL men by simply trying their hardest. I was saying that the women who live to their fullest potential could be viewed as superior to a man who has done nothing with his genetic superiority. But, as I said before, this is just one opinion.

For the record, I own four pairs of shoes and one purse, so your generalization about women doesn’t hold true for ALL women. And I once knew a (straight) man who owned over 100 pairs of sneakers.

The question: Does being born genetically superior make you better than women, or is what a person is able to accomplish in his or her life?

I can understand why a person would believe the first option. The fact that men are biologically superior makes them better than women.

The latter view also makes sense. You are only as good as your contributions to the world and society. If you accept this view, then some women can indeed be better than men.

I personally think that both views hold some truth. But this then goes back to my argument that you can’t PROVE men are better than women. It is all based on individual opinion. Is better determined by potential or actual success? That is a choice the individual must make.

• Feelings are more important than FACTS.
• Are more important than TRUTH.
• Commitment is more important than individuality.
• Safety is more important than fun (or taking risks)
• Children are more important than people.

These are all feminine values that GET MEN NOWHERE.

FATHERS tend to teach their children self-reliance and push them into the world head first…. but its women and mothers how like to hold men BACK.
