You could be right, but I cannot say that this is what I have observed or experienced myself – I am not saying it doesn’t happen at all, just that I have never experienced it. I think my only quibble was with the whole explanation for a woman’s ‘incomptence’ with her travel documents. I think its far-fetched to say women resent their passports – I do grok the humour though…but it might be more accurate to state that women resent their passport photos – I hate mine!

It’s possible I’ve had incredibly bad luck in travelling with unusually neurotic women.
