Nature’s Filibuster
Arguing with a woman is like walking through a Fun House of Mirrors.
Sure it’s fun for a while. You get to see yourself in new and interesting ways, something that we men love to do to grow emotionally and in character. But then it gets really fucking irritating and disorienting because almost none of it makes any kind of sense and you have to keep backtracking to make progress that you thought you made like ten minutes ago.
Where the fuck are the stairs?
Women define losing an argument as not having the last word.
It’s a completely backwards mindset because in the end nobody learns anything about anything, but that’s how they do it. Think you’re getting somewhere with a woman in a debate about politics or business? Guess again. If she didn’t begin the argument this way in the first place, she will now just start spouting random inane bullshit at you like a sprinkler. Not one of those gentle misting sprinklers either, one of those annoying ones that sound like a machine gun going off and shoots you in the eye when you’re not expecting it.
As a man, your idea of an argument is three fold:
1) Identify the issue.
2) Listen and gather research and information regarding said issue.
3) Try to reach a resolution amiably.
Women, nature’s filibuster, argue like this:
1) Waste as much time as possible.
Women value time and life like a garbage disposal values fine cuisine. It’s just something else to squander away. And really, how can they even understand the concept of time wasted when they have nothing to do with it otherwise. How many women have climbed Everest? None probably. Who cares?

When making an argument you should really be sure of your facts first, as it seems you miscounted again, that was 18, a large number considering your, “How many women have climbed Everest? None probably.” comment.
Sort of ironic that when you’re making a point about men being better at putting forward a logical argument than women, I (a woman) am the one who came up with anything that wasn’t meaningless conceited opinions.

Dick, you are truly amazing. In the second from the last sentance of the article you provoked Nicole’s response, and knowing full well what her response was going to be, rebutted her statement before she even had a chance to make it. Who cares in deed.

What exactly do you care about then?
Is there anything other than insulting people who have done things your not capable of?

And just because you don’t care, doesnt mean nobody does.

Hello Mentlemen,
I have met Dick at the Men’s conference here in Germany and he has shown me this site. As a three time everest climber, this argument in particular has caught my attention. To avoid further argument I will keep this short. Do you know what the root for the sherpa word for ‘woman’ breaks down to?
‘Unnecessary load’.
So, as we say in german, schließen Sie Ihre dumme weibliche Öffnung.
babelfish that if you don’t understand.

If women are so unessicary then how is it that so many have made it to the top of mount everest?

To the men: great points all around
Nicole: I will never get tired of you personifying Dick’s preachings, keep up the work. If you are wondering, I left out the positive adjective on purpose.

If you have nothing relevent to say then I suggest you say nothing at all.
June 3rd, 2005 at 7:55 pm - IP Man-Hash: 198450b4642a5
That would imply that what you have to say is relevent.

Of course it’s relevant, Dicks comment was that no women have climbed Everest probably, and I proved that many have. Which destroys Dicks opinion that “how can they even understand the concept of time wasted when they have nothing to do with it otherwise”. We obviously have achieved great things.

Dicks comment was made for the purpose of illustrating the fact that no one cares, as Dan previously stated.

This brings us back round to my point of that just because you don’t care, doesn’t mean nobody does.
What exactly is so much more interesting about men climbing Everest, than women doing exactly the same thing?
June 5th, 2005 at 1:48 pm - IP Man-Hash: a0f4c7b636e9d
Nicole, it is more interesting when men do it because they do it to achieve something, women on the other hand, simply to draw men into arguments like this. Us men have a structured busy life to engage with, which makes fitting in climbing Everest amongst providing for the weaker sex an even greater achievement.

Excellent point “The Man”.
