You also seemed to miss my discussion with wolfe about this point above. We both already decided admiration was distinct from respect, from the point of view of both sexes. In the words of oldone, “do try to keep up dear.”

A woman feels that she has already earned the respect of a man who approaches her, simply by the fact that he finds her attractive.

So by that argument if a woman is approached by a guy who stares at her cleavage and thinks to herself ‘Gee, this guy really respects me’, what sort of respect does such a woman deserve?
