Women Ruined Mel Gibson
Who doesn’t love Mel Gibson? I disagree with anyone who doesn’t. Not on account of their opinion, but because they’re obviously lying.
Mel Gibson ushered in a new area and archetype of hard ass, ass kicking in movies. He’s the Nicolas Cage of the 80’s. It’s hard to believe, but a mullet would get you laughed at before Mel Gibson gave it his Man Stamp of Manproval. And does anyone besides me remember the action movie scene before Mel introduced us to Mad Max? It was awesome. Then Mel happened and all movies B.G. (Before Gibson) looked like shite.
That’s a never ending well of Man Points as I see it. Minus fifty for taking the mullet five years too far and plus a billion for showing us Sigourney Weaver is just a woman after all.
Mel may have said some inflammatory things recently. And first I want to say I would defend to the death his right to say them. Don’t forget about that.
Besides it’s all women’s fault.
The whole Sugar Tits thing I can say for sure no woman actually gives a fuck about. I’ve called policewomen Sugar Tits before and I don’t have the box office grossings of China. Not even close. You can look that stat up as well if you’re a man. Women can’t count commas.
Celebrities are people and they have eccentricities. Remember when OJ murdered his wife? I don’t remember everyone throwing a hissy fit about that.
That’s exactly my point. This isn’t a problem with Mel Gibson. This is a problem with women. Women want every man they meet to be their father. And they all want their fathers to be God. They can’t do shit or take care of shit on their own, so they need to believe they’re being literally watched over by an infallible, untouchable, invincible Superman who can wash away their woes and fuckups when they’re having whatever problems women have. I don’t know what the fuck those are. Probably having to figure out a map or decide what size Cappuccino would go best with their handbag.
In other words: stupid, non-problems.
And another thing. Women make no separation between opinions, thoughts, and actions. That’s why you’d get slapped by your significant other for checking out a girl jogging in the park. To a woman, that’s the same as raping her. It’s horrible and tasteless I know, but when are women any different.
So what happened here? Some billionaire got drunk and said a bunch of shit he otherwise wouldn’t. Big fucking news. That doesn’t happen every single day of the year. It’s just not every day that the drunken billionaire happens to be every woman in the English speaking world’s father. Then it’s a big deal.
It’s a big deal and it’s completely true. Women ruined Mel Gibson.

“Women make no separation between opinions, thoughts, and actions”
That, sir, is most probably the truest thing that you have ever written.

No, sorry, I’m not with you on this Dick.
He said his [Anglican] wife, mother of his seven children, would go to Hell for her non-RC faith. He’s danced about the nature of the Shoa[h]. [The Holocaust, the annihilation of the Jews in Europe in the '40's under the Nazis].
I believe Gibson can repent and may remain graced by God. But his current behaviour sure as heck isn’t showing it.
For those who are non-religious, I apologize for bringing religion into it. But this is an issue that brings up religious aspects.
This site should have neither truck nor trade with racist crap, anti-gay crap, nor anti-semitic crap.
Dead serious on that. It’s the reason I remain here.
Gravely, gravely, disturbingly, Female has a point. Alcohol ‘ruined’ the man. Not women. Most especially not his quiet, patient, and long-suffering wife. On this one, I think you are very mildly misdirected.
Manly respect,

You say that as if you’re somehow reluctant about it, Wolfe.

In a better world people would be remotely as indignant about other massive human tragedies as they are about the Holocaust. And other wroughters of genocide as they are the nazis. In a better world no one would side with the strong against the weak. “In a better world”…
Alas, ignorance and indifference gets the better of such empathy as evil gets the better of (not necessarily through) those who blatantly deny or claim against the veridicity of the Holocaust.
I don’t see how one’s not believing in the Holocaust would lead to one’s fall in disgrace or damnation, or what have you. Not even overtly claiming so (and thereby purportedly corrupting others of luke faith). No, in no way I do not.
Nor indeed talking about one’s spouse like that. Sure, it’s weird, it’s distasteful, even immoral to say so about one’s wife. But from there to saying it might cost you the grace God invested in you is again quite a long stretch.
Funny how people will be apologetic for their Christian faith or before introducing religion (so long as it’s Christian faith) to a conversation, but rise up in proletarian anger at the Holocaust. Food for thought. Laicisation of society and separation of the powers in state, or some warping of culture much more insidious than that?
Especially considering the very strong link between the Christian faith in God and the cultural and juridical foundations of western society. In the space of a century it’s become queer, for lack of a better word, almost shameful to unhypocritically affirm one’s faith in public. Perhaps in another 50 years people will frown upon churches in their vicinity. The land value around them would probably reflect that.
Most certainly, being an affirmed Christian is already somewhat of a stigma for a self-respecting intellectual and “free-thinkers”.
Indeed, as the media bombards people with misandrist fallacies so too does it with subtle or overt anti Christian propaganda. Wittingly or otherwise.
But this is a distinct topic and I’m spooking people pointlessly.

The Catholic church believes and has taught him that non-RC’s go to hell. The Church of his choice has taught him that. I think they are both wrong.
I don’t what he said about the holocaust but I have researched it on my own. I have even seen videos of Jews who deny it. I don’t know either way but there is some strong theories of massive lies and coverups.
Indeed many Jews died in concentration camps and so did many others.
Those other groups don’t have a protected status or documentaries in their honor that I am aware of. I am not anti-Jew for I am related to them.
Wolfe’s reluctance appears to be a humble disagreement.

That ‘PAUL SCOTT’ fellow seems anything but neutral to me. In fact, he seems a mightily biased evil little fuck.
I think the crux of the matter is a lot of people are gauging their eyes out for passing on such a golden opportunity money maker as the “Passion of the Christ” is. Don’t get me wrong, I myself feel it’s one of the best and most appropriate films ever made. Certainly the best about the life or moments in the life of Jesus.
Altogether a very successful film, despite its “rabid antisemitism”. Which is a piece of shit line it being totally untrue, if you ask either Maia Morgenstern or me. We’d both happily oblige. By that measure all devout muslims are antisemites. Oops.
Those people, the very ones screaming antisemitism when the film came out and kicking themselves a week later, now see this as the perfect occasion to stick it to mister Max.

It is true that the Jews did kill Jesus, saying that or portraying that is not anti-semitic, for it’s the facts. However, it’s people who hate Jews and who spit out that they killed Christ in a derogatory manner that are anti-semitic. And really, if the story is true, then the Jews were acting on behalf of God and Jesus who both pre-determined his death for our own good. So if you believe that he died so that we might live, then the Jews did everyone a favour by pushing for his crucifixtion. If they didn’t, then we’d all be fucked regardless of our religion.
Thus ends religion 101 for today.

His death was the single most important event in the Life of Christ. For we all have forgiveness thru this event.
But I think it showed too much of the agony and not enough of the wisdom he brought us. The Jewish people were responsible for his death which was foretold and had to be. The Jewish people need to stop being such babies. And I am related to them.

Back on the farm…
Why the hell does anybody give a tinkers toss what Mel Gibson thinks? Especially if he was drunk? Why do people continue to give such credence to anything any old celebrity gushes forth. I don’t give a stuff how famous, or rich, he is he remains an actor.

Aside from the fact that I’m definately not anti-semetic, the very fact that you, a clear goddamn BIGOT, are trying to take the high moral ground against me, is just downright stupid.

Female, your post just goes to show women should refrain from discussing religion. It demeans the subject matter.
Please stick to ballistic pandas and concussion dolphins.

Female you retard. There was nothing he said that made him a bigot.
I don’t understand why you women enjoy pushing yourselves into places that you’re not welcome.
Since most women are incapable of making people happy you find it easier to annoy the hell out of people and you get some cheap thrill out of it.

The way I see it the guy was bombed, freaked out, and said some things that most people would not say. What I want to know is what provoked him? People just don’t get pulled over bombed and then start cussing about Jews and calling cops Sugar Tits. We need context here!
Besides, I wonder if this would be news if a well-known Jewish actor got pulled over, bombed, and blaimed the Arabs for the problems in the Middle East? Doubt it!

That’s because women have never heard of the Middle East, Chris.
