I have been a stay at home mom for 7 years. I love my JOB, and I love knowing my children are safe and loved. Money could never compare. I miss having a paying job, I miss having more interaction with other adults.. I miss sick days, and bonuses, and vacation.. One thing I can say with 100% certainty is, some dumb ass at a daycare will never abuse my kids. My daughter will not be sexually molested. My kids will learn the difference between right and wrong. Lady, you’re one in a million!
Nobody’s ever going to take quality away from children (I am a single dad and my toddler comes first, before anything!!! I had him late in life and as a man I do a great job in raising him! All the women I know tell me so).

However, you miss the point, it’s not like the “ozzie and Harriet” days of the ’50s, people can’t afford to make it on one income (if you can, you’re lucky, most folks are not), it simply takes two incomes to live these days.

I won’t go into all the details as to why, (I did a colledge thesis on the subject-240 paages).

Most women are simply lazy and don’t want to work, they lack a solid work ethic, find it easier to go clubbing in the hopes of finding a celebrity (or somone with $$) to sweep them off their feet and live happily ever after.

Unlike a man where we always shoulder the load and make sacrifices and do whatever it takes to make it.

I put myself through college by night while I dug ditches by day for more years than I like t think about, but I did it, without complaint. I served in the armed forces and honorably discharged before that.

Though I now have a good “white collar” job, I earned everything I have. Nobody gave me anything. I grew up poor and the only thing my parents gave me was a good work ethic and their ability to be frugal, a value they picked up in a prisoner of war camp during WWII.
