Madness?! This is feminism! Sparta is around the corner.
Along those lines, I was ruminating a few days ago on the subject of contradictions you find today. On this website, one of the most common riposte’s you’ll hear against these articles is that it is women who make the babies. The ability to bear a child is held as one of the primary reasons that is supposed to make the rest of it untrue.
Conversely, you look at the last forty some-odd years, and one of the primary goals of feminism has been to relegate child rearing to one of the most demeaning things a woman can do. Being able to abort a child has been raised to a sacred “right.”
So, hard to take that argument seriously, when you look at the whole thing in context.

Granted, being rather of the rural sort myself, I’m somewhat biased….
But anyway, maybe there would be better luck looking around in the country? It’s hard to get a big head when you’ve got calluses on your hands (dainty ones!) and boots with animal manure on them. At least, that’s how I grew up. Stuck in suburbia for now. (My husband only thinks I’m kidding when I wish we had chickens in the back yard. However, HOA gets persnickety about that kind of thing)
Other than that, I have absolutely no clue where to find the type of women you’re looking for. I hate to say it, but most women annoy me.

Unfortunately true. I’d say a good rule of thumb is, if a woman:
- has a shiny sticker on the back of her car that says “(fill in blank) Goddess)
- Goes to the grocery store looking like she’s going out to a club after she finishes buying tofu. Even if it’s 10 in the morning.
- has a kitchen that has a perfect display of cooking ware (but none of it looks used)
- puts sweaters and rhinestone collars on small dogs
- looks like a can of makeup exploded in her face
- has shiny things glued to her fingernails
- wears clothing that looks like it’ll fly off and break something if she sneezes……
Run.

Its actually a good hypothesis supported by scientific data. Long story short, there was a paper the appeared in a very prestigous american journal that studied how men and women picked each other after speed dating. The authors conclusions were that women evaluate their OWN looks, and based on their perception of their beauty, made their selections. Needless to say, the more beautiful they were, the more selective they became.
