I just want everyone to know I have become a huge feminist and as we speak am doing two term papers on feminism. Before visiting this site I never realized just how oppressed and suboridinated women STILL actually are. I no longer have ANY sympathy for men. So I would like to thank you ALL for making me realize I am a socialist feminist. I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Thanks again!

Oh you stupid cunt don’t give us that “this site has made me feminist” spiel. This site and its manly contents have only brought out the feminist you were naturally inclined to be. It sparked off a cuntism in you that was always there.

It’s fairly easy to see from your post that this is the case. E.g. “Women are STILL oppressed” implying that were were oppressed in the past by men which is classic feminist mentality. Or that essay on feminism you have to do (the kind of crap that passes for research in our academia these days unforunately). Yea guess that, two months ago it was February, so you started your course on feminism before you met this site.

Read the sign and get off this manspace, bitch. Off to women’s studies and feminist academic enclave you go!

One- Im not taking any feminist courses and two- I never even started second semester until February….. so what’s your point again?

And they would not have the need to read romance novel at a bookstore if they had romance at home, which they would have if they were competent about men.

    @ Panda

sure everyone can easely understand and agrees.

I don’t read romance novels.. oops and I’m a woman… weird how you can’t generalize huh?

I’m 21… Im far from a child and I have been living independently since I was 16… nice try though.

Most of the things KellyB says oppress her were cooked up by white, upper middle class feminists, not men at all. The anorexic fashion industry for instance, and the mass media aimed at women in general, are all the products of upper middle class white Anglo-American feminism, with its puritanical obessions and hatred of the body.

Anorexia is a very rare condition: sufferers are invariably white upper middle class females, and far more young males commit suicide than young females die of eating disorders.

Finally, the having to work (but raise a family) thing is what feminists were agitating for all along. This again was the product of upper middle class white feminists legislating for all women, even when their economic circumstances mostly made this option unreasonable. Something that always cracks me up about feminism is the vaunted ‘right to work’… the upper middle class feminists always assumed this meant clearing six figures as a Doctor or Lawyer, not clearing tables at McDonald’s (the reality for most women). Feminism has been a disaster for most Western women.

Maybe KellyB needs to take a gun to Anglo-American feminists, not men at all…

Addressing the work/ family thing, I think where women really got off track is the idea that it is possible to do both things well at the same time. Although it is true, anything is possible, putting your child into daycare when they are only six weeks old, then working full time, means that in reality you only spend maybe a 2-3 hours per workday with your child, and weekends. That means someone else is raising your child, or more specifically, they are usually competing with several other children during the day for adult attention. Some get a nanny, true, but that still leaves someone else raising your child during the formative years.

Having two incomes is nice, but having money for things that really aren’t that important pales in comparison to having a healthy, happy child and family. Granted, it requires budgeting and discipline, but it is quite possible. Plus, once the kids get old enough to start school, then you have time to work again.

Having kids shouldn’t be something you do because everyone else is doing it, and kids aren’t a thing that can be brought out and put away again when it’s conveinant.

It’s not about being oppressed, it’s about being responsible.

This has absolutely nothing to do with what I am talking about, hence- shut the fuck up.

Yeah, if we’re to believe you from last time -not likely but for a good laugh-
You’re living with two guys and cooking for them. That is not independent. But don’t worry, no harm done. In fact you seem like a nice kid, and I have this GREAT deal on a bridge in Memphis. Want to check it out?

I bet she’s into flying saucers.

Nah, those would fly right over her head. I know, we’re get her a shiny golden dollar. That hefty imagination of hers can make good use to it.

Generalizations are generally true. Thats why the word general is in it.

Just like one of Dick’s callers said: women can’t argue. Just beause one tiny part of my argument may not be true for one person, doesn’t mean it isn’t true for most.

  10. Kelly B Says:

One tiny part? MOST (if not ALL) of your argument doesn’t hold much validity OR credibility.

  11. Kelly B Says:

    @Arbalest-

I never said I cook for 2 men. I said I have to clean up after them… one is my boyfriend and I cook for him because I want to… it has nothing to do with independence, he works long days and I am usually home before he is by like a half hour so I make food… the other guy is just our annoying roommate… trust me I don’t cook for him. I clean up after them because I simply have no choice… my boyfriend helps out around the house sometimes.. my roommate is just a slob… and I don’t feel like living in a filthy house so I just clean it… it’s not that hard of a thing to do.
Nice kid? Why do you guys keep calling me a kid? That is so ageist… sure I’m not 40+ like a lot of men on here but like I’m no kid either.
And sorry… I’m totally not getting the bridge thing… I’m not familular with the “old-folk” lingo. And I’d rather avoid the States altogether.

Ah, so you’re not an American Whore after all, you are a Western Whore. Not that there’s any difference.

I’m actually not a “whore” at all. I have only been with one guy… and it’s the same guy I have been with for the past 5.5 years…
But then again… you’re ignorant and know nothing.

  15. Kelly B Says:

    PS: @anon-
I love how you just generalize all of the western world once you find out I’m not American. I’m from the Canadian Martitimes… so to you, that makes me a “Maritimer Whore” lol. OR and “East Coast Whore”

  16. Anon Says:

If you’re a feminist, you’re a whore. Dems the rules.

  17. Kelly B Says:

Whore: a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse, usually for money; prostitute; harlot; strumpet

    That’s odd… I’m a feminist (a socialist feminist to be exact) and I don’t engage in promiscuous sex… and I don’t engage in any sex for money….
Wow… AND I’m a feminst… how can this be so?

Don’t write unless it makes sense.

  18. Anon Says:

Of course I generalise all women of the Western World. They’re fundamentally the same everywhere in the West.

Generalisations are called such because in general they are true.

Like I said, it’s doesn’t matter whether you are an American, Canadian or any other Western woman.

As MABTW is an American-based site one assumes most comments are made by Americans. That’s the only reason I made note of it. It’s not like I “once I found out” you’re not American I decided all Western women are whores. No, I knew it long before that.

Also, as Canada is heavily Socialist-Feminist, I imagine you’re an even bitchier broad than one might expect to find in the US. Heck your mangina politicians would probably pass laws to ban anti-feminist sites like this being hosted in dear old Canada.

    You’re a very wimpy people.

  19. Kelly B Says:

“Generalisations are called such because in general they are true”

not necessarily. It means you are trying to shove millions of people into the same category… I could make the generalization all men don’t know how to do anything but fuck and scratch themselves… and it MUST be true because I made that generalization.

If you actually knew me you would see that I don’t fit into your “generalization” at all, haha. You are just foolish…. a foolish man.

You’re right, I WOULD ban this site… there shouldn’t be trash littering our streets.. OR our Internet.
