One in Three Women is Illiterate
Sometimes the statement men are better than women leaves me wanting a little more in the flavor of substance. It’s not often. Like all men, the shortcomings of women are something I’ve learned to accept and move on. However, occasionally we men need to re-evaluate. We need more than rational hypothesizing and logical conjecture. We need facts for the why’s and how’s.
I pose this as a formal theory. Men are better than women at everything because something like 30% of women are illiterate.
Sounds shocking doesn’t it? But really, when do women need to read? Numbers don’t count as reading, so illiteracy does not impede women from writing checks or measuring all the progress they’re not making while they’re not working out at the gym.
Before I get too ahead of myself let me quote some statistics. UNICEF and UNESCO say that two out of every three illiterates is a woman. They give the world-wide feminine literacy rate in the sixtieth percentile, while the male literacy rate towers above that number at nearly 90%. I think you’ll agree that that’s plenty of numerical majesty to spare.
Initially, when I saw the figures I thought to myself, maybe that’s why women are so shitty at everything. Just like the kid who is really shitty at baseball and then it turns out he just needed some glasses. Maybe women just need to learn how to read.
Then I realized the writing on the walls of every cluster fuck women are about to step into is only metaphorical writing. They also don’t need to be able to read to shut the hell up every once in a while and listen when something other than Oprah or an appliance that resembles Oprah is dispensing sound life advice.
Perhaps instead of Easy Bake Ovens and Barbie Dolls this Christmas, mothers should be buying their daughters Hooked on Phonics.

It seems to me the US allows immigrants when she requires them for so long as it suits her fancy and only so long. I could even pardonably infer that American foreign policy is nothing if not self servient as well, were I a cynic.

You managed to dig up some informative statistics, to say the least. I was blissfully unaware of any such facts mainly because I don’t find it fascinating, but rather disgustingly morbid.
The poignant result of importing the immoral parts of western values and jurisprudence. You will duely remember that the commera ban on abortions, for all its own ills and flaws as well as those of the regime that spawned it, had some merits as well. My nation’s been through a lot through the age but I suppose imposed morality is better than none.
I suppose you’re entitled to gloat that, procentually, American womanhood murders less babies each year bereft of any coercion.

Well, I don’t agree with either (birthrate) approach. I think there’s a happy medium between the democide of one child per couple, and the suicidal approach of 10-25 suicide bombers per family.
I think your point on ‘modernism’ vs. an asymmetric enemy is a good one. I don’t think neo-isolationism is the answer (this is what I’ve interpreted you in the past as proposing), but the status quo doesn’t seem sustainable as a matter of national will, if nothing else.

How naive it is to believe that it’s a zero-sum game, or even an “either/or” decision. And sharing is very nice; I look forward to seeing other nations foreign aid budgets, tied or otherwise, surpass America’s.

I can’t help but agree, though the European nations aren’t that homogenous these days.
In any event, I’m delighted that Sony is so adept at pointing out the motes in US eyes. It must be wonderful to be from a nation that has such huge queues of people waiting to get into it, where ‘undocumented workers’ flood in to get free health care that’s amongst the best in the world, etc.

Wolfe, those are the old rules…the ones that say the better educated/talented the offspring(despite their small numbers) the more succcessful and high tech the society to defend against any foe who may have supeior numbers, etc. (Soviet Union, China)

I’m not an expert on “alternative history”, but from what I’ve skimmed people who believe what Billy believe think there is a government within the government. This site does contribute to feminism, but mind you, this is about the only thing that does. Women basically have equality now, and they’re still complaining.
For example, if a man opens a door for a woman, they’re sexist, she can do it herself. If they don’t, they’re rude.
If a man pays for a date for a women, it’s seen as sexist and old fashioned, she can afford it herself, if they don’t pay for her, then they’re sexist and cheap.

Granted that in order for something to be achieved there must be a reaction to it. However, what is the MABTW site trying to achieve? What ARE your goals?
Without these goals (which are not clear from this site) it is possible that attitude of MABTW is more of a contribution (as I explained above) to certain aspects of this situation at this stage than it is a solution.
Still putting the cart before the horse, Luka. In order for something to be done their MUST be a reaction to it. Who cares what feminists think, (if they do at all) when we must get OUR goals in order.
