@ Danny- I only used “posters” to differentiate the men who post here from Dick, who writes the articles. When I look at the site as a whole, I view Dick and the “commentators” as two different categories. I don’t hold Dick responsible for some of the things crazy commentators say (for example, I don’t go off about how Dick supports rape just because some nutjob comes on his site and claims to rape women).

And as I’ve said, I don’t post of feminist sites only because I haven’t come across a feminist site as extreme as this. I heard about this site from a friend and was shocked enough when I saw it that I felt compelled to comment. Believe me, if anyone has seen a feminist site that is as misandric as this one is misogynistic, I’ll comment on it.

King Wang- Lady XX was trashing her gender, and you claimed she was smart and had the intelligence to “work you”. Apparently I misinterpreted that, so I’ll respond to your last post.

I understood the part about “trying” with men, I just didn’t see why you assumed Lady XX did so necessarily, since all she’s done on this site (that I’ve seen) is disparage women, which is why I thought you meant that doing was so was a way to attract men. How do you know how either of us acts with men? Nope, I am not lazy about attracting and keeping men, and I’ll leave it to you to decide whether I’m unintelligent about it.

You mentioned something about trying to look good for men… well, I eat healthy and go to the gym, so I stay very thin. I wear minimal make-up and dress well. I straighten my wavy hair (which is pretty unruly and unattractive while wavy).

In general, I’m friendly and show interest in people and their lives. I’m complimentary and supportive. I “do nice things” for people, and this is especially true when I’m dating someone. You seem to imply this is a game or something, though, something that “intelligent” girls do in order to attract men. I view that as manipulative; for me, I just treat men in my life well because I like and respect them. I treat anyone I like and respect well. While I guess it takes effort to do some of the things I do for boyfriends, it comes pretty naturally to me, rather than something I have to “try” to acheive. And, as I said before, it turns out pretty well for me.

I don’t understand what in my posts made you think I think I’m “so great” and “think originally” or whatever you said. I just stated my opinion, and half my post was merely defending myself against insults. I also never insulted anyone, and I DEFINETLY didn’t imply other women don’t think originally.

Probs A Girl- Nope, this site’s not a joke. You’re new to the site, but I’ve been here awhile and that same question has been asked and answered often. While Dick exaggerates for comic effect, he means what he says in terms of the general message. Same with the commentators (is that word more acceptable to you than “posters”?), though they’re actually usually more serious than Dick. I’m not uptight, I can appreciate the aspects of this site that are purely humorous, but, as I said, most of it is meant seriously. Speaking generally, this site promotes hate in my view. I don’t find the hate of women, men, blacks, hispanics, asians, caucasions, jews, muslims, gays, etc., funny. (Though, again, SOME of what Dick writes is funny and I can appreciate that.)

And, rest assured, I do not think even the more hateful men on this site are violent (though, two people have claimed to rape women…). The vast majority of men are probably just blowing off steam, and that’s fine. It’s their right to do so. But, the words they speak are still ones that encourage hatred towards women or sexist treatment of women, and I find it disturbing, so I comment. I do so respectfully too, I might add, I don’t go around insulting and cursing people.

As for why I’m here, nope, I’m here for the reasons I stated. And as for “fence-sitting”, if my positions seem to be moderate, that’s because that’s how I feel, it’s not intentional. I believe very strongly that everyone deserves equal opportunity and equal respect (until they’ve done something to forfeit that respect). No one should be disadvantaged from the start because of their gender, race, religion, whatever. I see something that comes across as hateful to me, so I respond to it to rationally and politely offer another view. I don’t think there’s anything too terrible about that. I wasn’t preaching to the choir for most of that post. I may have misunderstood his meaning, but it sounded like King Wang was saying that women should disparage their own gender, pretend to dislike women and idolize men,etc. to attract men. I was saying that you can easily respect yourself and your gender and also respect men, and that I’ve been plenty successful in dating with that viewpoint. Also, my viewpoints on equality go both ways. Neither gender should face discrimination or double-standards. Many men on this site actually support discriminating against women and upholding double-standards.

King Wang- How are any of the women arguing like “wannabe men”? I don’t know about any other women here, but I only post here because I see things I find disturbing and wish to debate them. I feel certain statements, like ones about killing women such as in this article, shouldn’t go unchallenged.

As for success with men: I very much respect myself and do NOT disparage my gender. I believe men and women are equal and should be treated as such. I also am wary of modern feminism because I feel it aims to not treat the genders as equal, but to give women rights and advantages that men do not have. Therefore I probably agree with the men here on issues of custody, equal jail time for equal crimes, eliminating alimony or awarding it to whoever makes less money (irrespective of gender), and other issues as well. And, believe it or not, I get along with men very well and have good relationships. A woman can respect herself (her whole self, including her gender) and still be liked by men. As a matter of fact, men seem to be turned off by dumb games (like pretending to hate your own gender), because they can see it for what it is. I also know few men who WANT a woman who’s self-depricating. Women with self-respect do perfectly well when it comes to dating, as long as they also respect men.

I agree, excellent post. In fact I have the exact same thoughts, and it is so rare to hear people say that women are trying to out-do men in fields they are not strong in, just to make a fucking point.

I have had similiar conversations with my son, who is 17 now, his mom thinks I hate women, but I dont, and when my son asks me what my problem is, I tell him just what “Probs Girl” just said, and he understands completly.

It’s a good feeling knowing that he won’t end up like so many other men, who will do anything for a sniff of that pussy, even if it means giving up every ounce of dignity they have.

Women are the worse sex. They make themselves so.

I can’t possibly say that if I lived in America, I’d vote Hillary over Barack. I’d vote Barack, even if I were racist. I’d vote Barack, even if my mother’s dying wish was for me to vote Hillary.

For the same reason I believe women should not be allowed to partake in combat battle, I believe women should not be put in charge of countries. I think women have many great strengths. I think men have many great strengths.

I rarely see men, trying to beat women, at what women are best at doing. My own mother would kill me if she ever read this, but I truly believe women are better at nurturing, etc… it’s innate in them to do so. I do not see men, competing for the title of ‘head nurturer’. Yet always, TIME AND TIME AGAIN, I see women, fighting it out with men, for positions that men not only rightfully won, but are simply better at than women, as it’s within their predisposition.

It seems fair to say, that simply because once upon a time, in an era that few alive are even witnesses to, women were underclass citizens to men, that now, women have this violent jaded urge to succeed over men, in everything.

We are all equal in the sense of human rights, and standards of living, etc. However, we are not all equal, when it comes to personal attributes. Certain people will always be better than other people, at certain things. Certain genders will always trump the alternative gender, at certain things. Women long to be the super power, some sort of hybrid- it’s bullshit.

To spend all this time, trying to be able to do everything… you become, as it were, a jack of all trades, master of none. Very few men strive to be good at every single aspect of life, but rather hone in on the traits that were always innate within them- allowing more time for developing these traits. There is no room for failure, with this mindset.

Frankly… I don’t care which is the greater sex. It doesn’t bother me, and in concerns to whether or not it affects my daily life, it’s completely irrelevant, as I will live the way I live, regardless of whether MABTW, or not.

I do think the bulk of women that come on this site, should adhere to some of the things I am about to say, though..-

-Get off the computer.

-Do something constructive. Cook a meal. Shop. Clean. Childbirth? Manicures/pedicures. READ A GOD DAMNED BOOK, and maybe improve your spelling/vocabulary.

-Consider that this site might just be a way for men, to release that tension in their lives, which you partake in creating. Consider that men are hit at every angle, with claims of sexism and lack of equality, every which way they look- and that maybe they need an escape from petulant, pretentious house-wives, nagging at them.

And maybe… just maybe…

-You could HARDEN THE FUCK UP, and stop posting your whiney, annoying, slightly-repetitive, unintelligent responses.
