I think homo sapiens females evolved to have orgasms. This, along with memory of the experience, created a population of women that was more inclined to have sex with a man, and so the women that can experience orgasm could engage in sex more often and produce more “orgasmic” children than the ones that did not experience orgasm. So, I theorize that women who are orgasmic would be more highly evolved them women who are not as orgasmic, assuming all other conditions (lack of a being held in a puritanical guilt) being equal.
