The following question was sent to me by a reader Erik.
Here in America prostitution is illegal, yet pornography is completely okay so long as all participants are eighteen and over. This is what confuses me: Is pornography (that is to say, intercourse between two parties) not the same as prostitution?
Why is prostitution illegal?
Good question, Erik. Now prepare your mind for a mantomic explosion of answer.
Prostitution is illegal because women hate the fuck out of each other.
Men love women. I’m a man and I love women so much I would have sex with all of them if I could. Even the fat ones.
Fat women are like dessert trolleys. They’re stuffed with desserts and they’re no good in the sack.
Let’s look at the facts.
Men give women free cars and free money so women can drive to the mall and blow that free money on useless bullshit. That’s nice of us. Men also built strip clubs and Hooters so women can easily put themselves through medical school. Again, quite nice of us. Do you know how much money strippers make every night for doing almost nothing? Like two grand. That’s just more good old benevolent men footing the tab at the foot of the stage. Men are like fire hoses of altruism. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got the window closed, we’re busting it the fuck down with generosity. Clean yourself up.
That’s where prostitution comes in. Men invented prostitution so no woman anywhere would ever have a single problem in her life.
Unless you call too much sex a problem!
Women’s magazines, women’s financial manuals (which include such gems as: be more confident when asking for a raise. While you’re at it, grow a penis, honey jugs. That’s about as likely as a woman growing a backbone), and women’s fitness classes, are all full of lady-problems solved very easily by man’s first invention: prostitution.
Prostitution is the only way in the world you can get free money. You don’t even have to stand in line like you do for welfare. Prostitution comes to you.

All women use prostitution to get free sushi without batting an eye. Sushi is fucking expensive. Ergo, women use prostitution to get free money. Or is every woman at a sushi bar somehow not a prostitute?
The reason prostitution is illegal is women hate seeing other women having it easy. Remember how many women called Anna Nichole Smith a whore when she married that old rich guy? Look at how many women hate Heather Mills. Yes, Heather Mills is a cunt, but women don’t know that. They just hate Heather Mills because she has it easy.
Women are nature’s spanner. Once you’ve got some shit together and some man cogs lined up cranking out the good times, in is chucked a woman and mucked go your gears. That’s what women did with prostitution.
I think that’s what the Bible means allegorically speaking when it says Eve ruined the Garden of Eden. Prostitution was busy solving all the problems of womankind while men solved their own, but women had to go and wreck it with a fucking fascist crusade. I don’t know what the apple means as a metaphor though. Maybe it just represents something shiny. Women will do anything for shiny.
If you really want the whole scoop here, I can only recommend the following. Pay the next woman you’re going to have sex with 20 bucks before you do. And make sure she knows what it’s for.

The woman is, in the blissful sexual experience, using her sexual charms to “purchase” the affections–and maybe the wallet–of the man in question. She has chosen this man, deciding that he is worthy–in terms of his social status, his monetary ability, his physical appearance (which matters though it does not stand alone as a woman’s may for a man) and his demeanor (how he makes her “feel”)–and through those traits she is judging, from biological perspective, whether or not she is willing to potentially have his baby.
A stranger who jumps in without satisfying any of the requirements is potentially, from a biological or evolutionary standpoint, saddling this woman with a child carrying his unworthy genes. He’s sowing the seeds without buying or even renting the field. Someone else tilled the land. He is not a capitalist, who works for a living, he’s the exact opposite–a thief!
To this effect, the difference between the two is huge. A woman who has consensual sex has already done the “math” in her head. Depending on her actual or perceived self worth, this man is worth the cost, and she may be free to enjoy the experience, which is leading her somewhere she wants to go. Whether she’s a girlfriend of a worthy man, or a prostitute for a man who has the required fee, she’s getting what she believes she is worth for ths experience–and if she isn’t, she won’t be happy and will ultimately change her behavior if she is to improve herself. But either way she makes the choice, bad or good.
Rape is the exact opposite. Since a woman’s brain is so focused on not getting stuck with just anybody’s kids, she cannot possibly feel anything but totally violated when she not only has no choice, but doesn’t even know the person. These could be anybody’s genes she will now have to raise! And if he couldn’t find a willing woman, it’s more than likely the genes aren’t too great.
Men think differently because a sexual encounter, in the natural state of being, does not result in his having to raise crummy kids. He doesn’t have to spend nine months gestating and then years raising the kid–unless he chooses to (or in the modern world, is forced to by law, convention, morality, etc–which are irrelevant when we are speaking, as we are, from a biological perspective). So he doesn’t naturally worry all the particularly much about the consequence of an ill-conceived interaction, and even being “raped” by a woman, if such a thing could happen, would not have the same magnitude of psychological consequence for him.
A lot of people on here seem to be able to use logic extremely well up to the point when it doesn’t support what they want to do, and then they abandon it. If you are trying to think from a biological, or evolutionary point of view, then you can’t keep considering sex as an end in itself when taking this approach. While in the modern world, science has allowed us to eliminate many consequences so that it can be treated as such, the fact remains that this urge to have sexual intercourse exists for a biological reason, and a lot of the psychology surrounding it has more to do with those animal instincts and procreation than it does with your personally getting your rocks off.
Moral: the desire of a woman not to be raped is sensible. The fact of it being the same ACTION as consensual sex is irrelevant–as is the fact of saying I like eating steak, why shouldn’t I close my eyes and let a potentially malevolent stranger feed me WHATEVER, because it’s all eating. Yes, but you don’t know if this person is going to be feeding you shards of glass, wet concrete, or acetone–and unlike with food, with sex you won’t necessarily know the difference until years down the road!
I have never known anyone being able to rationalise such a topic.

All good points guys. I was in Amsterdam (Holland) many years ago and had a great time. Aside from all the unobvious culture (Anne Frank house, Reichts Musium, Rembrants house and the Heineken brewery) the “sailors quarter” or “red light district” as it is more commonly known was a blast.
There, life is very casual. Get a plate of eggs, ham, fresh bread and farmers cheese, grab a Guiness Stout (yes, they do offer more than one brand of beer in holland, not that there’s anything wrong with Heinekens), have a lively discussion on politics in a bistro, and get laid all before your evening really gets stated.
Then swing by one of the many bars that ahem, serves up festivities of the leafy kind. You can recognize them as they have a small marijuana leaf in the bottom corner of the signage.
Sorry for drifting off the point, but I’m old and Holland was a wonderful place.
Back to prostitution. I suspect that there are many reasons women hate prostitution, but in holland, for some, it is an accepted way of life.
Remember, europeans have never been hung up on sex as we are here in the americas. They have nude beaches, live porn shows and prostitution. If you don’t want to participate, you simply don’t go to the areas designated for it.
I might add that the women that work in prostitution are from the many countries of the world, not just dutch girls, it gives new meaning to the term “around-the-world”.

I remember a girl from Morocco (French Morocco) that I had a liason with while in Holland and that was very memorable to this day. She resembled Tina Turner (in her prime) with lighter skin. Guys, while I somewhat agree with what you (lhook10 and Himmler) said, I think it’s a bit more complex than that. Yes, women find other women competition, but they hardly influence the law. Hell, it’s hard to get women involved in politics at all, let alone to the point where they have a say on so-called “community standards” on obscenity and the like.
And as far as commoditising prostitution, well it’s been done successfully in the US in Nevada and it’s been a very profitable venture (not to mention expensive, from what I’ve heard). I’ve been to Amsterdam and I see what the Dutch have done there. I am mightily impressed with their pragmatic approach to public policy.
The biggest obstacle to decriminalizing prostitution is the fact that the US was founded by tight-assed puritans who condemn people having fun in public while the go off an fuck their mistresses in private. This is why the US can never adopt the Dutch model because the Dutch people mind their own business while we in the US have to mind everyone else’s.
But I agree, if we all could go somewhere and get our dicks wet by someone we don’t know now and again, life would be so much better.
Dick has a very interesting take on the prostitution thing and one i’d never heard before. Maybe its one of many reasons.
Sex is the VERY LAST thing in the USA that hasn’t been branded, commercialized, and given a brand name and copy right. Of course, if they legallized prostitution, this would take about 5 minutes to happen. But quite obviously, there are worse things that happen here, every single day - its my firm belief that the Crazy Korean at VA Tech would not have busted caps on 33 people if he’d gotten laid every night for a week before. Same goes for the two kids at Columbine, for that matter. And there’s not a soul reading this who would have hesitated to chip in for ditto, had they known before the fact.
I guess the obvious message is, we’d rather have murderous, rage-filled, nut cases among us than legalize the ability to “purchase” something that every psychologist or even the frikken mailman could tell you is a basic human need. And if they could we might have a little better bunch of people around us - I live in California and i can tell you it really can’t get much worse!

Alex, I tend to agree with you on this one. As I’ve said, I’ve known several women who were raped, and it seems to me that it’s actually pretty rare for them to get over it psychologically. They tend to be prone to clinical depression post-rape, particularly if they were forced to orgasm. They are among the few women I’ve known to suffer actual psychological hardship as opposed to imagined hardship.
That being the case, I would suggest that the failure of men to empathize with the real pain suffered by rape victims is at least in part due to the sheer volume of whining about imagined hurts and sufferings that women complain of day in and day out.
Imagine that female whining about nothing was a constant drone in your ear. How are you to tell the real pain from the imagined pain when all you hear is a constant drone?
I would suggest that if women wish to be taken seriously about serious matters, it is imperative that they stop whining about imaginary ones.

Wrong, you imbecile. There is a huge difference. The fact that you are forced to have sex against your will makes it degrading, humiliating, and terrifying. Maybe you can not understand this in terms of heterosexual intercourse, because you desire it and aren’t particularly concerned with who you have it with, but it is exactly the same as being raped by a man. Why? Because while physically heterosexual rape might be less painful, emotionally it is the same. You very strongly do not want to be raped by a man because it robs you of your dignity and violates you, as does rape by a man for a woman. Your ignorance and inability to empathize is shameful.
